Here I am walking in Dortmund, Germany, through the city center with its Christmas Markets on a November night in 2021. Our walk tour goes from the Hansaplatz, where one of the biggest Christmas tree stands, to the Alter Markt, then to Reinoldi Church and surrounding places. Enjoy spectacular Christmas lights in the city during this walk, with many handmade goods & delicious foods to be spotted. The Dortmund Christmas Market is an annual outdoor Christmas market held every year. With more than three and a half million visitors of 300 stalls it is one of the biggest Christmas markets of the world and brings tourists from all over the world to Dortmund. Today the most famous feature of Dortmund Weihnachtsmarkt is one of the tallest Christmas tree with more than 45 meters height. The tree is made of 1,700 spruces from Sauerland. Twenty huge candles and 48,000 lights shine over the Christmas market. The top is decorated with a four-meter-high angel. Dortmund is, with a population of slightly above 600.000, the third-largest city of Germany's most populous federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia after Cologne and Düsseldorf, and Germany's eighth-largest city. It is the largest city of the Ruhr, Germany's largest urban area with some 5.1 million inhabitants. Enjoy this 4K HDR video walk recorded with binaural audio. Unfortunately, the Christmas markets in Vienna are still closed due to the current Covid regulations, although the season has already started for them. We have 14 Christmas markets here...For that I find beautiful videos here, it gives a pre-Christmas feeling, thank you very much, Japan Potato! :D

Dortmund is my hometown and I'm still living here. I'm happy that I have a short way to get there and can visit it everytime I want because there are people coming from all over the world just to see our Christmas market which is indeed very beautiful and has the biggest christmas tree of the world. Da ist ja mal richtig tote Hose. Früher hat man da kein Bein auf den Boden bekommen. Klar alles Corona konform, aber irgendwie fehlt da so auch was. Hat aber auch den Vorteil, dass man sich kaum, bis gar nicht, für irgendwas anstellen muss. Weiß selber nicht genau wie ich das finden soll.

Sehr schöner Weihnachtsmarkt - kann ich nur bestätigen da ich mitten in der Stadt wohne und 2x wöchentlich zum einkaufen durchlaufe - aber es ist auch traurig zu sehen wie wenig da los ist was diese Menschenverachtende Politik nicht nur da angerichtet hat

I don't like christmas markets. Maybe because I am an atheist. And maybe because I think the stuff you can eat and drink there is extremely overpriced. Then the pandemic with the virus. Then the terror threat. Too dangerous for me with no benefit for me. Sorry!
