Hi! Thanks for sharing your video. I have a question, if you can help me. I'm working with such a great pattern that I liked so much, and I'm repeating it over and over again, but in order to doesn't sound flat all the time I need to put some breaks, fills and stuff like that between the loops, do I make myself clear? Hope you can give a hand with that. Thank you so much!

Also: CLAVE; Claw-Vay/ Guiro- who-ee-rro (Like weirdo w/o the D), Shekere: SHECK-ay-RAY. You said Maracas very well though! Thanks again. Very Informative. Don't mean to be a stickler but pronunciation of terminology is crucial while teaching/ If someone said CLAVE or CayJoan in the studio... I wouldn't have the slightest clue what they meant. Cheers!

LOL@ "CAY-Joan ensemble. It Is pronounced Kaw-HONE. Which is Spanish for:Drawer. As you can see, the boxes look sorta like drawers. Which they were for many years I'm sure. In the very old days. THANKS!

Actually cajon in this case actually just means cajon as in caja grande, aka big box. This is because theres also another very similar instrument from the same origin as the cajon, the cajita, which equivalently means tiny box

Respectfully, you're pronouncing "cajon" as if it were "cajun," but it's not. :-) You're saying "KAY-juhn," which is how the word "cajun" (ethnic group) is pronounced. Cajon (the musical instrument) is pronounced "kuh-HONE."
