I miss the old Pudge deny, you could jump, cause chaos, tank some ults and then nope out with a deny.

soul ring with pudge is disgusting in Early game, pudge can suicide easily

One of my fondest memories was in dota 1, playing with 3 friends. Our centaur with 5000 HP got veno gale'd (or whatever it was called then). because he was poisioned you could deny him. We all attacked him and melted his ass in 3 seconds. So hilarious. He wasnt mad cus we were stomping

One of my bad memories from dota 1 you could deny any hero under 20 or 25% HP, I'm not sure right now. And my stupid teammate, not a friend, just a stranger was chasing me and me trying to run from him trough the half of a map. After him denying my fountain healing by attacking me for some time, I just went out of fountain and let him kill me, just so he would leave me alone. :) Yeah, I don't miss those kinds of grief..

Even after 10k hours of playing, some of these interactions are new to me. I gotta add another one with winter's curse. If the attack projectile arrived after the curse duration end, it counts as a deny. Similar interaction to the ones with the creep-dominating abilities

I still remember one of my best play back in Dota 1. I was using Bloodseeker and my teamate got ganked, then I use the first skill on him (at lv1) successfully deny the kill. It was so fucking amazing that I didn't believe I could pull it out

Should be updated with Doom no longer deny-able but Poison Touch(Dazzle's 1st skill)can now be denied.

Fun fact: some heroes has animation when receiving a fatal damage greater than the heroes' current hp

you can also ecnahnt TB illusions (not sure if it works with normal ones) and deny yourself with it. this one is kinda easy to do as enchantress vs tb cause of Untouchable

Winter's Curse also works by itself, if the effect ends between projectile launch and impact

I’ve got one more for the list! False promise and if you keep dealing more damage to yourself through purifying flame than heal - then it counts as a deny.

even without oracle utli its possible to deny ally in winters curse. it happens when you projectile in curse and it reach after curse ends as i remember

Do you remember old Venge passive? Her/her allies' (in a radius) illusion had been kept to attack her/their killer for a few seconds. Dota WTF was able to catch a deny like this)

If you turn off the Help from the shared units, they Retaliate and Fire shield dont work on allies.

If last hit of WInter's Curse in midair and Curse is ended, it will be deny. Also Alchemist can deny himself in Curse.

I miss the time when you could deny yourself playing as Pudge (Rot) or Techies (Blast Off!) or using "Pocket Deny" provided by bloodstone

Not all! If at the end of attack animation of melee hero, ult of the wyvern ends, then it will count as a deny. Let's try this, too easy do this on Tiny!! (That's not work on range heros)

I remembered my willow clicked my 2nd skill and just waiting for my earth spirits doom to expire after 0.5 secs with his 120 hp and the doom was gone while my 2nd skill bright glowing orb flying away towards his ass and he was dead. Dude disconnected so fast

I also thought about it. Have just checked it. WW still get the kill even then the last projectile hit after the end of the curse. Interestingly, auto casts like Infernal Blade or Viper's Poison Attack don't work in curse as well. And even passives that grant ticking damage like Veno's Poison Sting don't work. So, you cannot deny ur allies by that after curse

Ok but why does oracle deny allies if they ate under aa ult? Aa shoud be the one to kill, oracle just damage them to 1 hp and aa kills

are you just talking out of your ass or something? The only guy that always gets credit for the kill under his ultimate is a Necrophos, if someone kills another hero under AA's ult then the killer will get the credit, not AA, thats why if Oracle uses E on frostbitten ally then it counts as a deny, because Oracle is the one who killed his ally below the threshold of AA's ult

When an ally kills you ( DENY ) will this make you lose money as well as being killed by enemy ? Yea i know it's still worth it no matter what bcs enemy wont get money if they dont get a kill.....
