DOTA 6.59b Tauren Chieftain Secret Quest

!!!!READ THE FRIGGIN' DESCRIPTION!!!
Me playing DOTA on single player, doing some of the Tauren Chieftain quest.
Map with Totems/Icefrogs:

HOW TO: Collect all totems, drop them in this order in the RD area: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water. This will summon TC. He will be very strong, and the totems are all invulnerable. Find all 4 Icefrogs; they are invisible but you can control them as if they were yours. Bring 1 Icefrog near TC. This will make 1 totem vulnerable. Destroy it, then repeat 4 times until all totems are gone. Do not send in all 4 frogs at once, as it may bug and some wards may stay invulnerable. He drops the Axe of the Chieftain. So far, this seems to be all there is. In this video, I do not do use the Icefrogs to weaken him, I just cheat in single player.
PS: For those wondering, the Axe he drops adds 200 Strength, and gives you "Chieftain strike" which knocks one unit very far away (like greater bash only a lot more intense). It deals 0 damage, however. It does not work against Roshan. Flavor text reads: "Ancient Weapon used by the Chieftain himself"

Yeah the Totems aren't invis and don't have bars, I was probably talking about the Frogs. In fact, you can pick up all the totems quite easily with a flying courier.

You need true sight to see them, so get a Gem. They are very small and hard to see, so it helps to hold down ALT so that you can see their life bar... it's also pretty small and looks like a small green square.

I think they have to be pretty close to one another. Try making sure you drop them all in the same spot. Honestly, I haven't tried outside of the RD area, I'm not sure doing it there matters. Also, be careful not to kill any totems. One of them is always not invulnerable, and attacking it will ruin everything, so drop them while moving and be careful not to attack them.

They are very small items. You just have to get your cursor over them perfectly.

"whosyourdaddy" is the cheat which makes you not take any damage as well as makes your damage go up by a lot.

it is imposibble tu use the wtf mode the tauren will get a anti spell. what will you do then? perhaps u need one omniknight,one rhasta,one warlock in the wtf game and one axe to pull the tauren out from his cave(his own fountain)

We just beat him online without the frogs. It took a long time and his health seemed to bug out a few times as it froze around 50% and 10, but after he dropped our Niax was unstoppable.

Yeah you technically can do this online, it's just near impossible. If you're having a hard time killing him with whosyourdaddy, you probably didn't kill all of his wards using the Icefrogs. Also, whosyourdaddy multiplies the damage you have by a lot, so it helps to get a divine rapier or two.

Yeah, I included this info in the description :) I also actually made a short video of me trapping him in between/outside of the trees like you described =P But yeah, that's the best bet for killing him.

Guys speak sense, Nothing is edited. This secret quest or whatever is called was only in the DotA 6.59b version, if you go back and try it on that version it will work, he's not editing/cheating. IceFrog promised that he'll put a secret quest in every version that ends with 9b for example: 6.59b, 6,69b, 6.79b :)

nigma, you can still kill him with naix, if u have lategame items cause TC has lots of hp, and naix steals it and deals as dmg, but it would be smarter to get the icefrogs there

No... Well, yes, there were Icefrogs there, too, however, there ARE Icefrogs in this version as well. I just didn't show them in this video. They are a running gag in these .x9(b) quests.

There's a replay on the TDA forums of a team that kills him DURING AN ACTUAL TDA GAME. Sentinal goes for chieftain while scourge gets rosh. Not even a pub game.

The icefrogs are slow yes,but if u command them to go back to your fountain,they will slowly but eventually reach it...

It just multiplies your dmg, if he had divine rapier (250 dmg) he will do like +1000 or maybe more .. something like that

when i tried it with some friends online, we would always end up killing the totems :/ Idk how the hell you beat him when he was standing by the totems. We could take him with an windrunner and troll, each with 6 divines. we used rashta to mass serpents and trap the tauren from going to the totems.

no theres a way to kill him without ANY cheats. the trees surrounding the area respawn every 5 mins so lure him out at the exact time and he wont have any totem buffs. then he'll be stuck there unable to attack RANGED creeps so jus pick drow or sumthin to kill him. also use helm to control all the helpful neutrals to increase ur dmg and atk speed. by doing this u can skip the frog chapter =)
