Hell no! I never complain about KS. The kill is more important but there are certain moments when you shouldn't mess or ruin it like 'Diptyo Pramudhito' mentioned. Invoker needed his fame :D (Come on, let him be happy for what he has done! :) )

you could get more gold from a wave of creeps than a hero... hell its even better to stay on lane last hitting than getting a few kills and fail some.

All u need is scepter but if you are fast hand then you might need octarine cause it helps every 10 skills cool down pretty fast

In early game enemies dont have bkbs to press it while blasted so its goochi. In late game tornado-emp-meteor-blast with refresher isnt working at all now. Using blast-hex-suns-meteor-refresh-suns-meteor-hex-blast since nerf, even more damage, taking svens with bkbs and satan 4k hp solo

Couldn't agree more with what you said, but imo he's still not the most popular hero. The only reason why the hero became somewhat popular is because of the pro plays in the competitive scene (i.e Miracle, W33, Maybe, QO etc. ). I think Miracle and W33 were the first ones to even adopt the greedy build on him going straight for Midas in the early game, which is why people even pick him in pubs , they want to be as greedy as they can, since you know; pub players will never win you the game, you win it alone most of the times.

No, this had been the case before Dota 2 even existed. Dota 1 players had been using Invoker the same exact way since the hero had been released. Everything popular in the competitive scene of Dota 2 are just copies of what had happened before Dota 2 was even made.

I played Dota 1, and my favorite and best hero was Invoker, I am pretty sure Midas rush wasn't a thing back then. Invoker was more about Urn + Cold Snap Combo in the early game and Tornado setting up for an easy kill, that's all I remember in my pubs at least on Dotalicious.

Ciprian Robica Nope, that explains you lack the expirience. Invoker has cycle of spells based on Game Time. The name for that is the spell point contribution. Your talking about 4-1-4 (or was it 2-1-2 cause I forgot) which translate to cold snap forge spirit early game, Sun strike Meteor Blast mid game, and 8 spell combo late game. The other was 4-4-1 (or was it 2-2-1 cause I forgot) which is Tornado EMP early game, EMP Meteor Blast Mid Game, and 8 Spell combo late game. This other version of cycle was before EMP nerf. True Invoker build is not about Q,W,E or naming a specific spell. It's about point contribution and what cycle can you do based on those points and item progression. The moment someone says I build my Invoker "Spell Name" or "Q" or "W" or "E", only mean 2 things: Dota 2 player, or a Dota 1 that cant play Invoker well.
