When you said, "one iconic voice line deserves another", I wasn't expecting Vegta's voice line to literally unlock several years of really fond memories; just the sound and cadence really take me back to a simpler time. And of course all respect and condolences to Akira Toriyama and his loved ones. It's because of his work (along with those he went on to inspire) that myself, and many others I'm sure, were able to smile through a lot of really painful times, and form some irreplaceable memories.

Btw Doto. To make your ultimate attacks stronger you can equip an item. Also if you break buildings and rocks in the environment during fights you can find a dragon ball. It'll also blink on your little map in the fight

Hey Doto, love the BT2 videos! I'd recommend changing up Piccolo's Evolution Z. The max level you can have for any attribute is 20 (and you start at 1), so anything past +19 isn't actually adding anything (aka health for your Piccolo). Also the fights aren't necessarily hard once you level up your characters, but some opponents like to spam rush attacks which can get tricky. One of the hardest in my opinion is the History of Trunks fight where you have to beat Android 17 and 18 with just Trunks for that reason. RIP Akira Toriyama, I hope he knew just how much his work meant to so many around the world. It still doesn’t feel real.

Glad to see the series back! 14:37 Those rush attacks work differently from tenkaichi 3, you need to hold circle + triangle (i think?) to block it. It still too OP since the user doesn't lose any meter, and because of that they nerfed it on bt3. Edit.: Yeah, just like 18:27 that occurred xD very spammable

Yeah you can block rush with the strong gard if the ia dosnt go to the side or behind it s not the only way but the other you have to time you r punch so strong gard is more easy

in BT2 the rush attacks can be controled with the analog so people can hit them from the side if you're only holding block and not blocking to the sides. iirc BT3's rush attacks are all straight lines with makes it easier to just hold block but blocking a rush attack depletes more ki than blocking a charged attack

The most consistent counter to rushes in BT2 I had was using the KI rush (Dash+KI). When you collide using it VS a rush you go into a struggle where you must rotate the stick, and then the winner of that wins the "Rush" battle. This also happens when 2 ppl use a rush attack and collide.

@@ThatOneCloudGuy in BT3 (and I think 2 as well, but might be wrong in that) there are 2 types of rush attacks. One quick, straightfoward that usually covers less range, and one longer slower that can hit from aside.

I just found this out (It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Sand Land, and more, has passed away at the age of 68. Toriyama's influence on the anime medium cannot be overstated, as his worlds helped forge many stories both when it came to the Z-Fighters and the anime world at large. For now, the official Dragon Ball website has released a statement regarding Toriyama's passing. Akira Toriyama was born in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan in 1955. He first introduced the world to Dragon Ball in 1984, with the story of Goku and his friends becoming one of the biggest anime properties of all time. Toriyama has continued to work on the franchise to this day, working on the manga along with the recent film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The influence that Toriyama had on the anime world simply cannot be understated and his passing is an unbelievable loss for the world. Doto only ways to block rushes are blinking them, or superguarding. Super guarding is pressing circle + triangle. Also to extend your combos after you hit them away with a charged square you can follow up with a dash with x or teleport attack with triangle + direction.

Let's gooooooo! Something else you might be interested in is that once you unlock a transformation thru the story you can transform to any form you want regardless of where you are in the story. So if you decided to play the saiyan saga again you could fight great ape vegeta as a super saiyan 3

Not sure if this will help, but I will tell you two things. First, sidestep more as you block so you don't get guard broken, so essentially dodge anytime they charge up an attack. Second, you may not be able to block rush attacks, but if you can't vanish and get good at winning the clashes, do your high speed dash you would do to quickly get to the opponent. Even before you start moving, you will trigger a clash if the are dashing at you or they do a rush attack. Not sure of the specifics in Bt2, but that is how it works in Bt3, and I saw it in this video. Hope this helps
