With budokai tenkaichi 4 announced I wanted to return to the world tournament mode of Dagonball Z Budokai tenkaichi 3 One last time with the three idiots! Will we stand a better chance as a solid unit or will we lose to a fusion character again!?

Fun fact for those unfamiliar: Yajirobe is unironically one of the most overpowered characters in Tenkaichi 3 because he has a move where he eats a senzu bean and instantly gets full health back, as well as an unblockable move. ...Of course, the senzu bean move isn't overly useful in a mode with ringouts.

After seeing these last couple Tournament videos something I’d like to see come back for Tenkaichi 4 is the QTE they had in Tenkaichi 1 when knocked back that allowed you to get up instantly giving you a chance in the tournament arena.

To do the 2:35 counter (z-counter) you have to do Up+Square when they're hitting you (the timing is pretty weird)

Well played guys! This is one of the best tournament runs! To do that aura defense thing, you double press the ki charge button if I remember correctly. Also if you hold circle+triangle you will auto dodge all melee non special move attacks and counter the enemy, at the cost of some ki. Also, use the specials of every character, like Sayian soul etc, those are the best.
