I absol Lute Lee love oldschool "decks no one ever actually used IRL" games like this. One of the best parts of playing Yugioh video games is playing with decks like these. Yugioh is a game thats fun at all levels but you rarely get the chance to play with stuff like this. I wish Masterduel had a mode with pre-built decks or randomized decks or something that simulated the experience of playing with a bunch of terrible or way too good random cards. Seeing monster reborn next to a Horn of Heaven is just hilarious.

8:20 I believe it’s to help with the Exodia pieces. If you’re forced to play one (and it’s still on the field later) you can shuffle it back into the deck and hopefully draw it

spellbinding circle was trash. it didnt reduce attack points. it was a far worse version of shadow spell. In fact, in some of the games they made spell binding circle a tier 1 shadowspell. For example in duelist of the roses and forbidden memories they are permanent spellbinds but reduce by 500, but shadow spell is permanent spellbind with 1000 point reductions.

The only reason Yugi ever won a single duel with this deck is because there were no rules against summoning monsters with more than 4 levels without tributes. And also because duelist kingdom had no rules in general lol.

Something to note with Shadow Spell If you hold off on using it until before Damage Calculations (which you can do because it directly affects ATK/DEF), then the attack will go through with the lowered attack values So that can potentially leave their board open for a direct attack next turn
