i have trouble with fully commiting and each time i try to commit i get to scared and open up and only land in my back Edit: i have just sent dub back off airtrack Edit #2: i am getting close to doing it completely flat on ground standing

progressively hold the tuck more and more each time you try the flip and eventually, you'll feel it, this was my strategy and it helped me commit my first double backflip. I used cushions and spotters incase I landed on my head, which i highly recommend

A Cody back flip (bounce from your stomach into a backflip) and then even progress that to a Cody back flip to your back, would be a very useful progression.

if you got that back 1.25 then do it standing, like a standing back tuck. then if you have enough speed and strength for that and you add a high bounce with the same speed (and a longer tuck hold obviously), you should be good

The thing that holds me back is a opening to early so the second flip is almost a pike like when I’m doing it I’m opening not staying tucked

make sure you're doing your backdrop correctly where your upper back and back of your head land at the same time to avoid whiplash. but even if you're doing this correctly and the momentum of the rotation is making it hurt, put a pile of pillows or blankets or sleeping bags behind you to land on
