Gotta say, this solo hunt is one of my favs this year!. Just Chris Bee in the woods with his bow... The genuine emotion and straight talk about the grind were awesome!.. thats what it's all about, the love of being in the woods and doing some hunting. It rejuvenates the soul!. Killer Buck!👊🏼 One of the biggest deer in Michigan that I have seen was on my lunch break, I had went for a stroll around the corner from my office and he was sitting off in the woods sunbathing. And soon as he saw me make eye contact, he immediately got up and ran off. This was in Kalamazoo, MI a city deer. 🦌

I havent truly hunted deer 🦌 anywhere else outside of the property by the house. So it is awesome to find and see cool animals close to home.

Trophies aren’t always measured in inches... sometimes it’s about hunting on family land, or hunting a specific animal you have history with, or harvesting an animal after many weeks/months of habitat work. Thanks for another great video. Love Michigan!

From a fellow MI hunter, congrats. The other states don’t understand the struggles of being a MI hunter and then to throw in filming and trying to make a living at it, kudos… but the one benefit of learning to hunt and manage deer in MI is that it makes hunting in other states a cake walk lol

Great job Chris, congrats! I've used Strikers for a long time and harvested a lot of animals. They fly amazing and I was happy with them. However this past season I had two fail on elk, where the ferrule snapped of at the end of the arrow. Granted, on both shots I hit the front shoulder. However when I contacted G5 they were aware they were having issues with ferrules snapping but sold the broadheads anyway. Needless to say I was not pleased. Fortunately both elk I hit were seen later and were just fine. I recovered both arrows and they still spin true but the threaded end of the broadhead is still in the HIT insert. I am now testing Iron Will and Valkyrie. So far, I've harvested a great Kansas whitetail with the Valkyrie!

Congrats on a sweet buck Chris. I suggest that you check out Iron Will broadheads - A2 tool steel is extremely durable, holds an edge like no other, awesome flight and their Mfg tolerances are amazing.

November 2nd was a special day for me last year. I saw sixteen deer total and four or five different bucks if I remember right. It was the only cool morning that week and they were moving.

This is a great story I haven’t been able to hunt in 5 or 6 years now I am currently nursing a blown out knee and it’s October 30 and I have the fever bad I recently ran into a little extra money and I am going to buy a Matthews phase 4 I used to put a lot of work on leases we had but cost went up my father is now 94 and on a walker plu work I just haven’t been able to go but next year ya I’ll be hunting somewhere Bet the farm on that
