It plays well into the story, too. Given that now, the Dementors are lurking around the castle grounds, and after this movie, the entire status quo of this universe shifts with the return of Voldemort.

The Warners did it too, on Animaniacs in 1994 complete with a translation. The "something wicked" was changed to "something scary" and the recipe in the cauldron produced Jerry Lewis! 😂😉😎

The choir in these movies really give a feel of the world. If anything theu should have had more scenes. Just makes you feel you are standing right in the middle of Hogwarts.

i’ve seen this movie a bunch. i recently rewatched them all. two things I noticed that I hadn’t noticed before. 1-the toads actually produce some of the sound for the choir 2-Buckbeak in the prisoner of azkaban can be seen taking a poo. I don’t know why i just noticed those, but i did
