Tonight, I shared a fun way to step up your embossing folders with the Double Embossing technique! Use two embossing folders together to add extra texture that looks amazing when inked up with an ink pad or ink cube!

Just loved the double embossing folder technique. It's fantastic. I realized that I've been watching Gina for so long that I actually remember the blooper reel where Gina said "Emfossing Bolder" and how funny it was.

I Iove the double embossed technique I’ve tried doing both adding ink to the folder and lightly adding ink over it after but it always seams to get on the bk ground as well as the raised areas

Beautiful technique! You might clear up some of the confusion about the sides of embossing folders by referring to them as embossed and debossed sides. Embossed being the pattern side raised or bump up, and debossed being the background raised side or flat side.

You could have inked the scolloped "loops" abit with a little darker shade on the blue on blue,to get anit of contrast. I think I will make a card like this to some of the teachers when the kids end school soon.

Is there a reason why. when you trim your cardstock, you trim from all sides and not just one side? If the cardstock doesn't have a specific pattern, so to speak, does it make a difference? Thanks! Love this technique.

There is not a single surface in my house, with the possible exception of the ceilings, that is big enough for an 85” screen. Anything that big has a bookcase on it. 😀

I use a solution of Photo-Flow and water before I put my cardstock into the embossing folders
