Genuinely choked up. Not only is this visually stunning, with incredible attention to detail, character expressions, designs, and movement, but it's fraught with emotion and tells this alternate storyline beautifully. The necklaces with the hearts to represent soulmates/lives, the shadow of Grian's ear wings by Scar's face, the focus first on Scar's open and then to Grian's face, Grian's blink in time with the music, Scar slapping Grian's hand away, and Grian's "AARRRGH! SCAR!!" at the end... everything about this is just... delicious. I will be watching this on repeat. Thank you.

OH YESSSS YES YES YES I wished I'd watched this as soon as I ever saw this animatic in my feed. Scar's POV man. I'm absolutely obsessed (going as far as to writing a whole story that was nearly 30k words covering each episode). This. THIS. I wanted Scar to just do his own thing so badly, but hey, it added so much more to who he was to just WATCH. Just sit and follow command and not go after whatever he wanted. Though this is great, because what would've happened if Scar did all the reckless things his heart desired??? And this makes me want to write another story, though I'm past that project.

@@flavarr Did it happen to be an excessively long titled name after a sleeping at last song? Lol This animation was great and gave me such memories of that project. One of my favorites (aside from one I'm editing atm) that I've ever done. Thank you. Desert Duo angst is really how I've gotten my roots in the fandom whether from my 3rd life project or my Scar-centric stuff. I prefer to mix it up with other duos/trios/groups but it's always a good one to fall back on

No offense but Grian was a total hypocrite in Double Life Just assuming Scar would get them out quickly and banning him from anything dangerous in which Scar did lose 2 lives in quick succession but he was quite well on red until Grian died the exact way he thought Scar would kill him (Note that I am not trying to hate on Grian or Scar for anything, I love them both but it was just something I noticed a while back)
