I’m not a vampire revamped if you like this version of Ronnie. Vocal fire

This song is about when he was dealing with hypochondria and medical anxiety. Notice how many times he kills his old self off. Fun fact Ronnie did most all of his own stunts in this. I'm looking forward to the reimagined and Revamped versions. Can I suggest you do these back to back. The Drug in me is you released 2011 and The Drug in me is you released 2020. I am not a Vampire released 2011 and I am not a Vampire Revamped released 2021. Ronnie killed Last Resort. His version definitely brings more emotion and meaning to the song. There is a video of Ronnie showing Jacolby Shaddix lead singer for Papa Roaches the unmastered version of this. Jacolby loved it. Oh this was the sequel to Watch the World Burn. Also, with the original it's from the point of view of an angry angsty teenager while this reimagined version is from the point of view if a broken adult or that's how it seems to me. Boardgame

It's the same words as the original Papa Roach version, but it's delivered completely differently. The Last Resort Reimagined by Falling In Reverse is a masterpiece! Fun fact: in the part where they sing "I can't go on living this way," one of those voices is Jacoby Shaddix, the singer for Papa Roach.

Last Resort Reimagined I think Ronnie gives the text the right, worthy framework. The Papa Roach version is too rocky for the seriousness of the lyrics. That's exactly what Ronnie conveys in this song, the pain and the fight with and against evil thoughts. Surely only people who have psychological problems and fight their demons every day can understand this. How often her mental world collapses and threatens to bury her. How many times do you think, “I can’t go on like this” and fight your way out, only to find again and again, “Nothing is okay.” But you keep fighting, every day. They fight with all their strength against being buried under their collapsing world. The sad thing is that too many people lose this battle, ultimately running out of strength and being buried under their collapsing world.

Couldn't disagree more on the Replayabilty of Last Resort Reimagined, though I never overdosed on the Original like you. I liked the original a lot but I absolutely LOVE the Reimagined. I can’t tell you the last time I just listened to regular music top 100 radio. It just doesn’t do anything for me. To me the most consistent bands that are still listenable are really on Metallica , Shinedown and maybe a few more. I wouldn’t know a Taylor Swift, Insert hit artist, if I heard them. Ronnie is definitely his own genre lol. And talented AF. I got goosebumps too the first time I heard last resort, he definitely brings the lyrics to the forefront and the emotion in his voice just kills me every single time. Even just his ooooh's toward the end give me chills! So I'm kinda disappointed that you didn't rank it higher, but I totally get what you're saying about a song being so played out that you cant stand to hear it anymore - I feel that way about a lot of Nirvana songs (I was in high school in the 90s lol). You def need to do more of their stuff though! I agree with the trilogy and also "the drug in me is you" and "I'm not a vampire" along with the reimagined/revamped versions. Of course, you started with "watch the world burn" which is one of their most epic songs, so its hard for everything else to measure up to that and "popular monster" I think!

Lol, I said Falling In Reverse was singlehandedly bringing back the "Must See" music video. Honestly, it almost seems like this is how the song was meant to be. Ronnie Radke is clean now and he's sober, I believe 2024 marks 16 years of sobriety. And his band is at the top of the game, it has been amazing to see the turn around.

I'm the same way with Last Resort. I love listening to the FIR cover though. Papa Roach made it for Angsty teens and FIR reimagined it for us Depressed Adults. Songs I feel are overplayed and nails on a chalkboard for me, is pretty much any song by Smash Mouth. I can't stand most of the hip hop/R&B songs that were popular when I was a kid either. Even though I loved them when they first came out. I can't stand Pretty Ricky, Chingy or anything like them. Even then I was leaning towards metal. Boardgames🎉

I dont really like the new ronnie music. Liked his older stuff better. Then he came after motionless in white for copying him but he clearly copied homelander from the boys in his watch the world burn video. So hes kinda a tool.
