in my case for both my low end laptop and entry level pc, smooth biomes actually increased fps for some reason, so i recommend trying out both and seeing what is best for the smooth biomes option

sometimes using low resolutions wont help, this depends on the cpu / gpu there might be bottleneck which causes the cpu / gpu to lessen resources to the game which a person would be playing in this case its mc. so 1600x900 or 1920x1080 sometimes might have same fps or a little more

Input delay is bad on 60fps, it’s also terrible if u have a monitor above 75hz

@@zelaobsWhat I mean is that 60 fps is the maximum amount to play minecraft well without any bugs, probably what you say is true, but just limit the amount of fps in which you feel more comfortable, it's obvious. (You can also unlimit the fps, it's really not recommended if your pc is not very good, but there is also that option)
