Summit is a very good top laner but he just does so much questionable deaths.

i cant help but see the similarity between summit and canna. t1 fans will know how 1v9 canna is when fed but is so tilting when he gets camped and dies randomly in sidelane

@@j0eykarate264 fudge played the least impactful TF i've ever seen, if we can laugh at humanoid for his awful tf, we can laugh at fudge, then you also have his corki game, where he built a fucking hexdrinker into full tank ryze and 0 other ap threats, and the akali is just an awful pick. He had 0 impact in all of the games, the mid and jg gaps were quite obvious, bott got 2v2 kills in at least 2 games (games 1 and 3) and pushed their lead as much as they could (they took first tower bott in the cait/lux game at like 9 minutes), top was just abandoned on an island to get repeat ganked/dove over and over. Blabber had even less impact than fudge in any of the games and no, you can't say "he got drags" EG literally did not even try to get drags early, they were perma playing for herald/top dives and later on, they were using drags as bait for fights until they couldn't fight anymore, then they would sac the drags and let c9 have them after they've gotten as many kills as they could. In no way can you blame anyone but the 2 of them for C9's abysmal showing (them and the drafts)

based on the wiki for turrets, the effect only resets after 3 seconds after the last shot hits a champion, but it doesn't reset when switching targets. so it seems like it was a bug.

Maybe simply because Camille's ult resets aggro? Seems identical when using stopwatch/zhonya..but only a bit shorter duration

@@mjd3879 The time they went to Semis was 100% cause of Jensen and Licorice. They 2v5 a baron steal, and Jensen's initiate on Lissandra was consitently winning fights. Sneaky was never ever ever good on world stage.

@pepega clapper Reaper played a role .. no doubt. But he is not the reason. I mean.. they benched Jensen and gang... and they went 0-6... not a good coaching decision. Most Korean Pros always stated that Jensen was NA best midlaner, and they played against him.

As a TL fan I was actually disappointed in the Bjerg Jensen swap. I think Jensen was too good overall, he’s not a perfect player but I feel like he woulda shit stomped jojo just to prove jojo isn’t on his level where Bjerg is I’ll just chill until my items are done.

There is more to it then just if he wants to go back. C9 might still want him or they want to sell him rather than just let him leave. If hes under contract he would be at C9's mercy and couldn't play for a LCK team without them releasing him or selling him. If Jensen is willing to go back that would be easy to plug him in to mid and Fudge top. For Jensen he could value just sitting out a year rather than take part in the C9 drama though.

If Fudge had gotten Jojo or Impact any lower there is a 0% chance they would have let him actually get a kill... he was one ability away from downing Jojo and two from killing Impact. As soon as Fudge cast his next ability, he would have been slapped before the next auto came out.

I think there’s more to it than that. Like LS said summit can play tanks, they even played malphite when LS was coaching. It’s not that he doesn’t know how, it’s something in their team discussion that makes them all think they can’t win unless summit is on a carry. Maybe it’s summit saying it, maybe it’s his teammates, maybe it’s the coaching staff. Probably a combination of all 3. At the end of the day it’s the job of the coaching staff to convince the players that some way of playing is good. It’s a team discussion about what they want summit to play and what the comp should look like. The whole season they’ve gotten by because summit 1v9 carry the game through top. Now that other teams have adapted and summit can’t do that anymore, C9 hasn’t shown that they’re capable of playing through mid, jungle, or bot. I imagine that’s why they keep trying to force a carry through top comp, because the team hasn’t had success playing through other lanes. At the very least they haven’t show that capability so far.

To be fair, he is just mentally boomed, because he is fully targeted and everyone else on C9 is worthless.

@@greas320 To be fair if i saw how much of a monster berserker can be if given enough resources and support (especially visible in hypercarry LS drafts less so in the jhin game) id change my game plan. And weak side summit did his job well at least early. he drew every bit of preasure to him and still managed to perform late very well but basically left berserker to just scale late and crush everyone. as far as i keep seeing seems summit doesn t really want to change unless brought extremely well made arguments as to why pick up a champ or do something different.

@@Glazierstar I don t agree with the fact that they can t play through mid jungler or bot statement. at least during the LS period they succesfully played through bot jungle 3 out of 4 games and the 4th(the TL one) was such a fiesta mechanically wise that its hard to judge (but its a massive draft diff since they literally had to hard throw a few times to lose it). Berserker was literally popping off everytime and enchanter mid made blabber look like a fucking psychopath that would run you and your entire team down by himself. Given the right tools and setup C9 was hard to deal with since you had to try to shutdown top, jungle or bot or else they took over the game (and even fudge on carry was a beast).

Yeah, Fudge is mechanically fine or even great at a number of mid-lane champs, but a lot of people seem to be conflating that with being a decent midlaner. He's... fine at the best of times at the actual role and trolling at the worst.

It was also LS's idea to do that. I'm actually confused on the decision to bring in Summit. On one hand, Summit has been incredibly dominant on a few champs, but on the other hand, his limited champ pool would've tilted LS. I think LS could have worked with Summit to shore up the exploitable aspects of his play, but Summit just doesn't seem comfortable on anything that isn't Jayce, Gnar, or champs that play similarly.

It's also so easy to counter summit by playing a tank and impact is so comfortable on them so I thought it was a easy 3-0. Against 100T tho, I don't know. EG macro looked terrible against C9

I disagree and licorice got exposed hard on GG/Flyquest. Man has not regained his mental or confidence and we are going on 2 years. He also got exposed multiple times at worlds, like outplayed pretty badly against top tier carries. I just disagree on licorice ever rejoining c9 in general even if he returned to form. Honestly, LS was genius with off meta picks and in fact, kind of hid Summit's carry skills by putting him on more island roles, and giving berserk resources to carry with the team comps. Players are too whiny and unable to put their egos aside, if they had quit bitching and embraced LS win or lose, coulda really changed NA. Instead, you watch a team of egos falling apart in playoffs.
