For further clarification as to why it's not heard of in singles, the Sephiroth who placed the Shadow Flares is immune to them.

For clarification, the CPU will ALWAYS take their teammate's stock in doubles, EXCEPT if its teammate is a human player.

Interesting! I was wondering what was up with that, I've seen CPUs take stocks plenty of times but then not here. Heck, I learned about taking stocks from CPUs

I think CPUs can take your stocks if you want them to but you have to do the share stock while your still alive and they'll take it from you. I could be wrong though but i swear you can do that, i haven't played CPU teams in so long so i could be wrong.

Ok let me step in for Jordan here What was happening with those Sephiroth side bs is that basically the balls have active hitboxes while orbiting a character. If that hitbox hits other opponents (anyone but the Sephiroth player) enough times, 1 of the balls gets removed. You never see that mechanic in 1v1s so missing it makes sense

Suggestion: have each of you train a level 50 amiibo with no spirits, so when one of you isn’t around you guys can use that amiibo instead of a CPU for a fun change of pace

I was so impressed by CPU Super Saiyan Pit 😮 he was cooking 🥘 I hope that he makes a return in a future video :) On second thought I hope you do this idea again or make a CPU tournament where you can bet who wins. To explain the Sephiroth Side Special shenanigans happening with Steve, the move works so that if the balls hit anyone other than Sephiroth in FFA, they will go away. Since Team Battle had team attack on, it went by the same rules, allowing Steve to hit anyone including his teammate to remove the orbs.

I always look at Chris Paul for the CP abbreviation, as well as where I work we sell a “Crowd Pleaser” so there’s a bunch of CP’s written on the board for orders. There’s some alternatives lol

For Jordon if sephiroth uses side b on an opponent and let’s say both team attack is on and the enemy can run at you with the shadow flare circling them and if they hit an opponent atleast twice the shadow flair disappears from the target before they detonate. Bear in mind that shadow flare (side b) has an active hitbox while circling an opponent so anyone can get hit by them other than the person they are circling

From experience ZSS always seems like it’s the dumbest cpu, like a noob player with a pro player managing half the buttons. Mewtwo (non dlc wise) & Kazuya seem like the best. I’ve had Mewtwo cpu’s use tp cancel tech on me from midstage to get a kill & it getting perfect angles on it’s nair (it’s comboed the right amount of hits from nair to jab before). Kazuya needs no explanation

well, you're like 7 months late, knowing how early these can be recorded but team attack and allies allowed the balls to make contact with another legal target before they would have normally gone in on the target. Making contact with a damagable player will cause them to detonate on that player instead.
