If I recall correctly, there was a "Deadly Spectate" episode (the first one, I think), where some low GSP Marth got completely wrecked by a low GSP Shiek's Final Smash after DI-ing it the wrong way. It was quite a "hype" moment, so I guess they remembered it.

He was only voted 2nd Most Hype Underdog, but I've seen the way he plays, and IMO, this could not be more wrong. The subtle transitions between Neutral and Hype Combos. The surprises he pulls off with under-explored characters. His humility and ability to not play like an absolute sweat. It all comes together. Director Cogger is my favorite Underdog by a country mile, and it's not even close.
