Could have been my fastest lap yet!

Pity for the traffic at important parts to have a fast lap because I was faster in a lot of sectors compared to my personal best 7:07" BTG ( • NEW BEST TIME! 7:07"BT... ) but still mega fun!

His ego isn't even present in this, it's purely man and machine united as one pushing their limits together for nothing other than utter joy and pleasure. I feel sorry for you that you can't understand that as you're missing out on one of the greatest pleasures available to us in my opinion. Fantastic driving as always, that car feels like it was made for this track!

I wonder if you will get the new GT4 RS soon? It does exist now. Also the sound of the 991.2 GT3 RS is just ... SUPER SWEET! Probably the sweetest sounding engine on any sports car. I am looking forward to the 992 GT3 RS. Hopefully it will sound just as good and will be an awesome car in general! The GT4 RS also sounds really nice; even the regular GT4 sounds good.

good driving. only things you have to improve is braking later, stay more stabil on the brakes (with porsche cars you can brake very late->engine in the back) and even than you can steer in the corner, sometimes you can hit the throttle earlier in the corner or stabilize more with the throttle in the corner even more why the car is no turbo charged. Amazing! Do you know your camber and sway bar setting? What’s your experience CupN2 vs CupR? How much KM you get out of both tyres?

Camber is about -3. Sway bars both medium. Cup2 R is a different league and game changer. The grip a GT3RS deserves and needs. N2’s slide way more. I’m going about 10-15km/h faster in each corner. N2’s last longer and after about 60 NS laps they are useless. Cup2R after 40. Greets

Hi, just an old GoPro Hero Session 4 but the trick is to use it out of it’s cage so the sound is not muffled. Also used a Polarize filter on it to get rid of reflections and enhance the colors a bit. Also always underexpose a bit. Greets!

About 60 laps on the Cup2R but not all were hot laps like this. After let’s say 35 laps the optimal grip level was gone.

Well first of all, get really comfortable driving your car. Also try driving your car on roads or tracks with elevation change and higher g forces to prepare a little bit. Then go out, be careful and have some fun laps! After you get comfortable with the track you can begin pushing harder... And honestly you can do it in almost any car

You're fast, but the best I've seen you drive was with the 2015 Boxter GTS. You got out 99% of that car. I know the GT3RS is way faster with the Manthey Racing mods, and that's why you are still being cautious. You need a close track to go sub 7:00, too many cars will continue to slow you down.

Nicest comment I’ve seen! Thanks. You are absolutely correct. I have gotten much closer to the limit with the GTS and GT4. The pace with the GT3RS is so fast that a mistake can come much quicker than with the other ones so I need to be extra cautious. I believe as well that if I did an empty track day that I would have gone sub 7 a long time ago. But in my mind I did it already with the 7:07” TF lap with all the traffic. To me it’s not for my ego of beating this time but to feel how it’s like to be at the edge of capability of the car and be in the time zones where pro drivers are. Even if it’s just 1 lap. Greets! 👊🏻
