Had 2 amazing laps just moments before closure of the track. All the elements lined up perfectly to able to go for a quick one on this last lap. Not too hot or cold, new tires, not much traffic...
It had rained a bit just moments before so I was a little extra cautious.
I had brand new Cup 2 R tires on the car and they felt incredible again, like driving on rails.
Too bad about the traffic at Kesselchen which is a very important and long part of the track to get a good time. Maybe lost 3-5 seconds there.

To anyone who has not driven the Ring... You CANNOT Fathom what it takes to get round here in the 7's! I can tell you Right Now this guy is a fucking Hero! I nearly killed myself getting round in under 9!!! I would also like to pay respect to the other drivers on this lap for their quick reactions in getting out the way! Phenomenal driving skill from this guy! To get round under the 8 minute banner and into the 7's is Legendary! 👊💪🥇🎉👍

I don't think I have ever commented on your videos, but you have been my reference for most of 2019. To drive a 'clean' Lap without hitting the Kerbs is something I take very seriously because I care about my Suspension and am only driving for fun on the Nordschleife. To see somebody replicate the same technique at blistering speeds is mind-blowing. Manthey Racing are incredible! I returned with Beers for the Mechanic after they corrected my Setup this year (2019). Amazing garage and lovely people to deal with. I added you on Instagram for a quick chat - I live/work at the Nürburgring so we will hopefully get to meet up next Year. Great Video - Incredible Driving! Thank you for sharing this ❤️

Thanks! The GT3RS that Kevin was driving was not stock I believe. It was also setup by Manthey.. But so crazy to know that my time is close to his 😱🕺🏼

No, he was referring to the very fast passenger laps Estre did for charity during a Manthey-Racing track day. He did around 7:04 and 7:06 BTG laps. You can see you on KZfaq when you look for Kevin Estre. I’m pleased enough with being close to those times because he was going for it. :D

Amazing drive. Noticed you had in manual, using paddles. Did you have PSM off? Most noticeable to me was smoothness and little steering input. Few nervous moments whether traffic would either not move over or move back in front of you? If that had been here in Aussie land, you’d have never known what they’d do. Much more respect in Germany.

Amazing lap! A HANS device will make those harness belts much more comfortable! We can’t wear harness without Hans at most tracks in the states. The belts don’t bother me at all now in my RS. 🍻

Thanks! Yeah it would. Funny enough during Tourist Drive days you can wear harness but no HANS as it’s not road legal. 🤦♂️

just amazing, no real tire squeal or sliding. I want one so bad but I've already hit 2 moose in Alaska with my Ford f150, and years ago a black bear in Canada driving my gmc z71 towing a speedboat, so yeh trucks are more deadly than rifles. LOL👍😂🐻☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️
