Styling is especially good considering the compromises they probably had to make to accomodate the hard top. Also, if the roof is closed, it doesn't look like an open top car with the roof up, it looks llike a coupé that made to be a coupé

I like how the fact that the double window switches work as A down B down and A up B up it allows you to have any configuration of windows up or down. I was about to praise Ferrari for good engineering when you moved onto the second engine *START*/stop button that can only stop the engine, and then I realized that the double window switches were probably wired AB/AB because it was simpler than wiring them up to be AB/BA...Gotta love Ferrari.

It is literally a base model though. Base model doesn't mean its gonna cost the same as a Honda civic. As Ferrari sees it it is an entry level model for them. Your not their target demographic.

Hi Doug, FYI Enzo Ferrari Museum is in Modena and it's newer ; Ferrari Museum ( original) is in Maranello outside of Modena. How do I know ? It took some effort I found the one in Maranello also where they make and test them in the Fiorano testing facilities. They also kept different models between them.

Love your channel and am extremely jealous of your "job". a couple cars i'd love to see you review; a ferrari 360 challenge stradale. since you had a standard 360, id love to hear your thoughts on a CS especially since it was sort of the first trackday focused special cars. youve done the 430 scud. i want to see the CS! the new durango SRT. you did the jeep trackhawk which is my dream for a daddy wagon, but id like to see the durango SRT with "only" 475 hp. thanks, keep up the good work!

photos dont do ALOT of cars justice, i remember seeing a chevy SS for the first time in person, in photos it looks dull, but in person man that thing has fender flares for days, and its wide as hell, while still being somewhat a sleeper. So i know what you mean lexus cars suffer from photos alot also.

A dude just drove by my house in a black one with black wheels, and yellow brakes, and yellow badge on fender. Wicked nice. Don’t see them in Maine at all! Gonna race him in my ‘19 ZR1 Vette someday I can feel it! The V12 will keep up for a few seconds but I assume the 715 torque of the Corvette will prevail. Only disadvantage I have is that I got a manual.

I think the california / portofino layout is just perfect for a 2 + 2 cabrio. The back seats are small enough that they don't mess up the proportions of the car, and the roof is a fat simple 2 piece design that doesn't take up much trunk/boot space. It's perfect for those of us that only need back seats in emergencies, but don't like the look of every other 4 seater cab.

Your video on the AMG GT S claimed 0-60 in "something like 3.3 seconds". This does it 3.5 seconds. You gave this a 9 for acceleration in your score. According to the comparison scores, you gave the GT S an 8. That strikes me as odd. What am I missing? Cheers

It's pretty obvious. There is bias. Doug will manipulate certain variables in the equation to get the appropriate doug score. If he gets a final score say of 72 after his assessment and looks at his previous list and thinks, "hey, I don't think this is better than the Hurrican", then he will manipulate the variables to a final doug score that is acceptable. I wouldn't look too much into the numbers, just look at the overall list.
