Filmed back in October 2022, I visited the Palm Springs air museum while in California and unexpectedly managed to get tickets for the Warbird ride on the Douglas C-47 Skytrain “What’s Up Doc?”. The 30 minute flight around Palm Springs was brilliant, I would recommend if any aviation enthusiasts are in the CA area, go and take a ride in this old bird!
The aircraft took part in Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge in WWII. Truly an experience to fly on this old bird! Hope you enjoy
