Born in London and lived in London most of my life. I’ve experienced 2 hate crimes directed towards me by the Islamic community in east London with the last 5 years - whilst walking along the street on the phone in the early evening a Muslim late teenager with a gang of his friend threw a drink he was holding in my face and told me to go back to my country (I am 99.8% British according to 23 and me genetic testing). Worse than that I had 3 men with a megaphone drive a car across my path , onto the pavement blocking my path insisting that I not hold hands with my then boyfriend when walking home because the area was governed by sharia law (Bethnal green btw, not far out East London - pretty central!) The men then got out of their cars and followed us, then followed us home in their car to make sure we abided by their law. All I can say Khan and Stammer is when are you going to address this shit, instead of nodding like nodding dogs and winking each other off with your virtue signaling?

Jess Phillips has many Muslims in her Constituency. The flag of Saint George was associated some years ago with right -wing political groups. It has since been rescued from 'the extreme right' by the football fans. It is now regarded simply as the symbol of England by sane people, but I guess Jess needs every vote she can scrape up, and she seems to think that being visibly 'anti-English' will go down well with a large section of her constituents.
