The best thing about Douglas Murray is he dispels the myth that you have to be nice to idiots, you have to be nice to jerks and assholes. If you aren't always 'nice' you are a bad person. We all have to be patience, and understanding, and bend over backwards to allow them to speak their nonsense and spew their bile. No, actually you don't. You don't smear them, or call them names, or attack them based on personal qualities, or lower yourself to using any of the underhanded manipulations they use - you just skillfully eviscerate their childishly stupid arguments. And you call them out on their slimy argumentation tactics to boot. Douglas has zero tolerance for bullshit. I hope he sets a new standard for the whole society. It’s obvious that essentially anyone whose not a white male heterosexual Christian is deemed as some kind of victim, and has a built-in justification for violent crime, but a completely different moral standard, legal judgment, and media narrative is taken should the former commit a crime or even exercise free speech. None of this double standard would be occurring if it weren’t for the self-hating white liberals who, in ungrateful fashion, revel in decimating their own race, geographic region, and culture.

He's a regular columnist at various publications and I'm sure gets large speaking fees. He's one of the world's most treasured public intellectuals. He's got a lot of jobs and he'd have more if he weren't shunned by most of the media as a "far right extremist". Also, what in any of this looks like he's hiding? Um, unlike with the presidency in the USA, not just anyone runs for PM. You have to be an MP first. Then you have to get a certain number of MPs to back you. As Murray is not an MP, he is ineligible to become PM. He would have to form his own party because too many Tory MPs would oppose him. The chance of a new party winning enough seats from the other parties to form a government is very, very small. No one with any sense would even contemplate trying.

Murray would have to be one of the world's most intelligent & rational thinkers we are lucky to have debating many serious issues of the contemporary world. He epitomises the values of the need for any society to provide and manage an excellent education system. He also epitomises the necessity for any society to teach the values of rational thinking based on known facts....something barely evident in today's online world....the place most under 30yo's today get their 'information' ! Book reading, fact checking, historical perspectives etc seems to take too much time and effort for todays younger generation! The outcomes of which are evident now but will greatly influence our future even more...and negatively?

Great observation.. Murray was friends with Hitchens. He wrote an op-ed commemorating the late Hitch and talked about how he took inspiration from him. There are lots of similarities in their debating styles, similarly eloquent, even many of the words Murray chooses reminds one of Hitch.

Great job with this compilation. Douglas Murray is an absolute treasure. He needs to be protected at all costs. We don’t have nearly enough men/women like him in the entirety of western culture regardless of which side of the Atlantic one resides. It’s hard to believe that we’ve gotten to a point where there are so few individuals like him who are clearly emotionally and intellectually intelligent, have the ability to see all sides of an argument, and have the courage to call it out. The way he skewered that last clip with the Muslim extremist was masterful. I was yelling at my TV as if I was watching football😂

Please keep up your excellent work I am a UK born and raised generation Indian living in the UK. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say. You are not racist in anyway sense of form you are just a patriot. Your views on immigration and no doubt the same as mine. Genuine political prisoner no problem. genuine asylum seeker no problem. Any immigrant is welcome as long as they fulfil 5 criteria. They must come legally. they must have a reasonable command of the English language. they must respect British law. then respect our culture but most importantly they must be able to positively contribute to our society. For those reasons all I ask is that you keep up the brilliant work

I would like to comment, Indians are a benefit to Britain, Indians are most usually as, or more, British than the British. They can be a bit superior, but, we understand the history of India, having had a caste system at its heart, but I guess Indians would agree, we helped them a little with that. India, what became India after the British presence, administration, moved forward so capably, it's almost as we were made for one another. Indian PM, and opposition, since anti Whi-- ra---sm, and religi---s hate, have meant we has to employ Indians. We said, Ta, ta, to Jaguar, Rover, but TATA is back with battery manufacturer. India v recently sided with the West, and having potentially 1 billion supporters, is ok by me.

Thanks for sharing mate, yes Douglas Murray I would say is the best political commentator in his field. And the lefties never learn, as you say he treats all guests politely on whatever show, but if you disrespect him in anyway it’s the end of him being Mr Nice and he comes out and absolutely destroys them and it’s quite brilliant to watch.

He made a mistake. Once. He allowed viewers to see a Michel Houllebecq novel during a video interview. I noticed! He has arguably taken over from the late Christopher Hitchens on voicing his opinions on "that" particular issue.
