Then poorer families were made to move out of their social housing to be replaced by these masses of Syrian men. That was odd too. It was all men, very few females. The men would come over and leave their families in the war zone to make a life and until it was "safe" for them to join him. Okaaay?! I'm irish, i am a foreigner here myself. I am all for peace and unity, but daaaang, there are lines!!! And the European leaders really messed up big time! *sorry for the long text😬i just get so furious when i think back.

Sitting at home with the husband and not mixing with other people creates yet more problems. How can Muslims integrate with British society if they won't accept our societal notes, customs and values? I remember seeing our late Queen Elizabeth II and other members of our Royal Family covering their arms, legs and hair when they visited Muslim countries. I did the same when I visited Pakistan. If we, as Christians, can do that, why can't Muslims show us the same respect?

He either obeys your command and stops doing what he's doing (which isn't hateful by the way, exactly where is the hate? Seems like you're projecting), or he's free to do as he wishes since it's a "free country". By the way, it's not a free country. You need money to pay for a home, transport, taxes, food, which requires income from either job or benefits, and you must obey laws otherwise you face consequences. If you're a citizen of any nation then you're not "free". Also, it can be a very real concern for people when a demographic encourages women to wear items of clothing that completely cover the head and face, sometimes bodies too, with exception to a very small area around the eyes. It's still a very alien practice to use here in the UK and it creates an element of distrust as we're not able to view someone in their entirety, especially since it's a cultural practice from a group that supposedly follow a holy text to the letter, despite their being no passages in that text advising on what women wear. The body coverings are insisted upon them to "prevent men giving in to their primal urges", or "gazing at them lustfully". Apologies for the quotation marks, but those are just a couple of examples I've heard mentioned. I've been to London numerous times, and personally it's a little unnerving to come across swathes of them, especially since there have been a handful of terror attacks in the UK and Europe in the last number of years. No one's face should always be obstructed in public, especially someone involved in open debate, and if we can't identify someone we're interacting with, or someone walking the streets then yes, there is always a potential of someone getting away with something they shouldn't be. It could even be a man underneath all of that fabric with ill intent. We don't know, and just like how women assume the worst when it comes to their own security with being around men, or walking to their cars on their own, or going out for a jog etc., we can also assume the worst. Doesn't mean it will happen, but you don't wait for something to happen before you worry about it. Remember, you've said it's a free country, so by that reasoning we're free to express our thoughts and feelings without you telling us we can't, and it's not hateful to be concerned.
