Can you imagine how painful it was for an infant to go thru chemo? Even adults cant handle it but he overcame it with flying colors... This kid is indeed the real Superman...

I got tears watching this little guy fight for his life as soon as he was born; the strength of his dad is immense, his son definitely felt the love

My son also had cancer and I was the parent that stayed with him. I wouldn’t wish it in my worst enemy. The level of exhaustion you feel trying to keep positive for them and keeping on top of all the info and supporting your child in any way possible, is unimaginable. Luckily my son could speak his mind and tell me what hurt etc, whereas a baby couldn’t. Stay strong, and sending you warm hugs that all continues to go well.

He experienced so much hardship at such a very young age. I believe and pray that only good things will happen to Doun in the future. Fighting Doun!!

My dad was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago (3-4 stage cancer). It’s been a long and hard path since and of course it involves huge amount of sadness, anger, fear and uncertainty. I don’t wanna (and I can’t) imagine how’s for a baby going through this horrible sickness. And their family going through this is just so heartbreaking. Sending so much love to the people and their families that fight against this horrible cancer ❤

thankfully it was detected from the beginning and got treatment from the beginning when he was still a baby, at least he won't remember the pain... instead of being able to know at an age that knows pain, wants to feel broken,from hearing a lot of complaints, pain, making the heart cut more may the baby live healthy until adulthood

I was born with underdeveloped lungs and had to stay a month in the hospital, the doctor then recommended my parents to prepare and christen me early. My father was the one who would always visit and bring me the necessities and the thing he always say whenever we speak of this topic was when he saw me with needles all over my body the nurse would say that I wouldn't remember anything and he replied that I wouldn't but he (my father) would coz he sees whatever treatment they do to me. I'm okay now and haven't been admitted to the hospital since I was 5. My dad still remembers the name of my doctor and my main nurse almost didn't want to return me to my mom. lol anw, happy that this baby also managed to get better. its even harder for the parents as from exp, he won't remember too much when he grows up but mom and dad would. hope all the best for their family!

As parents we would lay down our lives for our children. Watching his child suffering through this horrific ordeal unable to take pain and suffering must have been torture for that baby's dad. His father's love pulled his baby through to better health as much or more than any treatment he received.

i had cancer while i was a teenager and had to get my treatment beside the kids. the youngest i saw was 1 and a half and its so heart breaking but at the same time a bittersweet feeling to see they kinda dont know whats happening there. they play with the hospital staff while getting neeedles into them..... also i remeber the chemo pain, how it hurts while going though ur veins, but i knew why, they dont. probably the most unfair thing i ever saw in my life and after almost a decade i still cant forget their little faces

I didn’t finish college, but I was going to be working for laboratories if I had. Naturally, I have friends that did finish with the same major as me. It really hits home to them when they do lab works of slides and they see cancer cells in their lab work. They don’t know anything about the patients other than their age and name since it’s important for patient identifiers. It makes them sadder when they verify the paperwork and the cancer cells are of little kids. They send their prayers every time they identify cancer cells and hope for the best for them.

Oh the parents.. Bravo. Such courage and love. I hope the child always stays healthy and happy

I literally cried throughout the video. This morning I had cold and headache.I was really frustrated about it but after seeing this video I really am grateful .it is nothing comparing to what Doun and his family went through. At such a young age , oh my god he is such a brave boy and his father too . I was sad and heartbroken throughout the video but at last his smile and his cuteness made my day.
