Michie Recovers you look like that because God saw fit to make you unique. You are beautiful. People will always criticize what the don't understand, are jealous of and what only their eyes can see. You look like how you look for a reason... because you are you! Fearfully and wonderfully made!!!

Some of these comments shock me. I myself look really fat, but when i "feel" my body, my bones are large. My metabolism is really low, and from when i was born, i weighted more than normal babies.

Everyone in the comments you are beautiful just the way you are. You might think you are not beautiful in your mind and that is true, but only in YOUR MIND but in other peoples minds you are the most beautiful person they have seen. You all mater and there is someone in the world who needs you to help them through their hard times so keep fighting. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! p.s. I mean it ;-)

see this is the type of thing that kids dont need to hear... That shes beautiful but she "shouldnt weigh that much" it does not matter what size you are at all.. it matters how confident you are in yourself and your personality. our looks realistically have nothing to do with how beautiful we are. and its sad that after this video you still feel the need to say that to a 13 year old

The problem is that we live in a society where trolls never had a problem with commenting on your looks but nice people tend to be too shy and too polite to just compliment a stranger. And then you have the situation where many people have told you that you are ugly and no one ever has looked at you and told you that you are beautiful, then obviously you don’t think you are beautiful. And when you live in a society where beauty means being successful, you obviously don’t think anything is wrong when you are not successful. So you also never really fight for this success since you already seem to be in the rightful place…

People say, "oh you're skinny!!" But I'm legit someone who has big thighs, big arms, big butt, average breasts(for my age), and my stomach is just, fat. And to top that off, I have stretch marks on my breasts because, I guess.... They grew too fast. And my skin is just.. Ew. I hate my body and don't want to show it to anyone, not even my future husband.. If I ever get one because we are judged on our looks through this generation, and I don't see myself as a 'regular' person. I can write an essay on this but I won't fill you with useless information... I regret posting this but you won't know who I am irl, so I guess it's good?...

So when I watch this video I think yeah i’m not that bad. Then I see the comments and I request why would I feel good about my body ? You are overweight, you’re promoting obesity and you shouldn’t get paid as much as your friend who’s skinnier because you’re just to fat so why would you get the same amount of money ??? Why are you guys in the comments interested in making people feel this way ? Does it make you feel better? Or do you just think these people just don’t have enough strength to eat healthy and exercise, they’re just to lazy that they should get paid less ??? I don’t really understand this can someone explain it to me ?

Sometimes I wish there was a thing like Fat transplant because as an obese person with medical conditions making it difficult to lose weight and see people who have conditions that make it difficult for them to gain weight i wish i could give them some of my weight to even both of us out. I used to make jokes when i was young and started to gain and my mom had weight lost surgery and lost weight i would say "Idk how but you gave me the weight you loss." I also regret the many times i called myself fat as a teenager because sometimes i would give anything to be teenager "fat" again. I do know i am fat its a fact and I will say I am fat. What gets to me though and i know they are only trying to help is when people say your not fat your beautiful. My response is generally I never said i was ugly though. I am fat and I am beautiful.

If you're feeling healthy and you are deemed overweight by the doctors, then you're fine. Don't stress yourself over losing weight. If others say you're not healthy and you aren't, then you do need to lose weight.

Yes, I agree with equality, no bullying, and that the fact that people who are paid less for their looks is ridiculous and morally wrong. But in all honesty, weight *does* matter. You only have one body in your entire life, and it's your duty to try your best to take care of it. Unless you have a medical condition, or for some reason is unaware of how obesity is harmful to your health (which can also translate to a mental disorder, or maybe just denial), you do not have an excuse to be overweight. Yes, a lot of overweight people are victims of hate. But in my opinion, the whole "body appreciation" term is beginning to be thrown around quite a bit and taken for granted. To me, body appreciation means being proud and confident with you *natural body shape*, not the result of your body after an unhealthy life style. A lot of people, in defense to my opinion, claim that the reason why they're overweight is because they're only paid enough to afford fast food. But it costs that much to buy a salad in that same restaurant, or maybe at a local grocery store. If you know that you're money is short, at least try your best to get the best choice for yourself. And when you do decide to have something unhealthy, work it off by a run. I know a family who does this because of their financial issues, and they're perfectly fit. There are many of other examples (and excuses of overweight people to go along with them) to support my claim that overweight people are discriminated because they're judged by their unhealthy lifestyle. It doesn't make discrimination against overweight people morally acceptable in any way, but some people need to stop wasting their time acting like the victim and use that time to try their best to prevent the situation altogether.

there is so much wrong with this comment that i don't even know where to begin. you cannot determine a person's health status based on how they look. there are plenty of thin people with medical conditions or health problems. and even if someone did lead an unhealthy lifestyle, that's their right and their business. nobody owes anyone an explanation or a healthy lifestyle. and even if we could prove that being fat leads to illness (which we can't), there is no way to lose weight long term for more than a small fraction of people. i do agree that body positivity is used too much nowadays, but for a completely different reason. it's been co-opted by those with thin privilege who think that just because they "feel fat" they are being body positive, when in reality, they don't need to because society will treat them better than any fat person whether they "feel fat" or not.
