This is not a dove tail it is also MITRE FACED mortise and tenon with corner section

I believe this might be a Mortise and Tenon joint and not a Dovetail joint, please correct me if I am wrong.

dovetail typically has a triangle, since the corner joint is in the form of a triangle, could have created the confusion.

This is the beauty of Indian Carpentry. No nail or screws like other parts of the world and survive for centuries without any lose joint.
