Yes, there is a bus service available from Leh to Nubra Valley. Approximately 8-9 buses operate weekly, providing transportation to various destinations like Diskit, Hunder, Turtuk, Sumur, and Panamik.
Here's the schedule and timings for Leh-Nubra Valley buses by JKSRTC:
Three buses depart from Leh to Diskit in Nubra Valley on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 6 AM.
Two buses travel from Leh to Skuroo, beyond Hunder, at 6 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
One bus journeys from Leh to Turtuk in Nubra Valley every Saturday at 6 AM.
One bus operates between Leh and Panamik every Tuesday.

Leh to Nubra Valley road is broader than Nubra Valley to Turtuk. However, it is a well surfaced road and the journey is smooth except for a few Kms before Thang village on the Indo Pak border. Missed visiting Turtuk village, as we had to rush back early to reach Hundar sand dunes for Bactrian camel ride, which we had missed the day before due to sand storm.

This time may be you can visit Turtuk and yes the road gets narrow towards going to Turtuk but I am sure in time to come they are going to widen it to develop it more.. however since the road conditions are good so not a problem now too.. Nubra Valley is beautiful..

@@discoverwithdheeraj Dheeraj, I'd love to visit Turtuk and possibly stay there for a night. I was told by the owner of a camp in Hunder, that a cake prepared by the local Baker in Turtuk in the traditional way is simply stupendous. I also love to study different cultures rather than just visit places. Also Sumur Panamik and Siachen Base Camp. I don't know how many days I get during my itinerary this time. I need at least 3 days for the Leh-Tso Moriri-Manali trip and 2 days extra for the road trip from Manali to Leh followed by a day out in Leh. Maybe a shared taxi should take me to all those places on my bucket list! Keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞

@kudpiraj that’s awesome and yeah for the Nubra side you will need an additional 3 days to at least enjoy the culture and surroundings of these places. May be do that in some other trip

Well, it will be 50:50 chance that srinagar leh highway will be open as well as stable/safe during that time.. if it is stable/safe you may plan it but with all winter gear precautions as it is cold in ladakh in April

Are you looking to travel from Leh to Nubra Valley on Monday? Well, now a days what I heard that Tempo Traveler union is offering shared seats for tourists and running shared travel services. You can opt that too if the bus isn't available.

@@discoverwithdheeraj Yes, since i would land in Leh on Saturday morning and have to stay in Leh till Sunday to acclimatize better, it leaves me to travel only on Monday. Also have you shared any details on how to get in touch with these shared tempos or have i missed it ? thanks for the help

Well, for the tempo traveler you need to connect with Tempo Traveler union office in Leh and since you have two days in hand before it, you should be able to find a shared taxi or tempo. These shared taxis can only be found on spot. There are lots of flyers which tourists put at cafes, dine-ins, restaurants, travel agent desks/shops/whiteboards wanting to share the taxis for different trips within Ladakh. Even travel agents organize such a shared taxis trip as well but charge a little higher about Rs 200-300 more than it would ideally cost. So, in the worst case, you can always go back to them and book a seat for yourself. Gelling up with people in Ladakh is more or less easy because many people travel solo and look forward to meeting new people and share cultural thoughts and values over the trip. Nowhere else in the world you will find more smiling and helpful people as Ladakhis are 🙂 However, Three buses travel from Leh to Diskit, Nubra Valley every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday of the week. So, buses you will not have an option, only shared taxis.

Once in Leh, you can rent bike in Leh for a 2 or 3 days trip to Nubra Valley

Srinagar Leh Highway aapko follow karna hoga.. route se main nahin samjha aapka question.. NH-05 kehte hain Srinagar Leh Highway ko vo aapko Kargil le jaayega Leh se aur fer Kargil se Srinagar

Dheeraj Bhai..... I am planning to visit leh in April with my parents (senior citizens)... Will it be safe to do advance bookings seeing the political agitation going on there? Does it is affecting tourists there? Or should I wait for the situation to balance and plan later?

Tourists aren't much affected in most cases.. I was there in a similar bandh too but apart from finding a place to eat outside hotel in Leh as market was closed, rest was all fine. We managed food in hotel. Also, April is still pretty cold for senior citizens, I hope you understand that and making a informed call.
