Like i'm ofc not an original long time fan, but I also feel like my relationship to the band is different than fans who found out about them through tik tok. I don't really understand how they came to be associated with Goth, because most goths I know listen to stuff like Bauhaus and The Cure. Emo, Goth, and Alternative have kind've been combined into a catch-all term for anyone who listens to anything outside of the 'mainstream'

Hello everyone. I'm a regular dude in my mid-40's. Honestly, I don't get into placing music into so many different sub-genres. That being said, if I had to say, I was a metalhead in my youth and well into my teen year's. Weezer was starting to get some airplay on the local alternative/college radio station (a time before music was one click away on the internet.) Anyways, I scored some free tickets to see them play at the local technical college. They put on a really awesome show! On top of that, a friend and myself drank some mushroom tea. It was in the fall, and the weather was cool and crisp that night. After the show I ended up laying on the side of a grass covered field, while waiting on my friend who was talking up some chick's. It was a peaceful memory I will always cherish. Well, I thought I'd share that just for the sake of sharing. Take care folk's and I want to wish y'all all the best in life!
