what you just witnessed is known as "looping" -- Kevin became known for this on his channel, with just a computer where he would mix his own track live, and then, beatbox over it. but it's since become a lot bigger now that he has access to a studio with more instruments, advanced equipment, and he's really honed his singing skills.

I became a Pentatonix fan, mid 2019. Kevin.OMG!!! A lot of talent to discover.

Been waiting for this couldn't click it fast enough when I saw this come up. I had the same reaction when I saw this the first time. Ok my reaction had a little more air guitar but you get the idea. I will say this every time I see this video, but his level of talent kind of pisses me off. But in a good way kind of like "You know God you can spread some of this talent around and not just give it to one guy." Now I can't wait for you to watch "Aha!". Hey I just wanted to let you know that your channel is awesome and your reactions and content are so genuine! Here is some more info on Kevin in case you didn't know lol. Kevin has studied classical cello since he was 8. He named his cello Beyonce! He's a true polymath. He is also a skilled classical saxophonist who graduated from Yale University and he studied pre-med. He was picked to be one of twelve Yale students to study in China and the time there affected him so much that he changed his major to East Asian studies. He extended his stay in China to another year and a half while he learned to speak and read fluet Mandarin Chinese along with some other languages!

I recommend a Sing Off marathon. You won't be disappointed and everything else is gravy.

It's time. You are ready, and you have earned it. You lived through The Sound of Silence by Disturbed without kneeling over. Guy.exe didn't kill you. It's time. You can do it, Dee. We have faith in you. Just make sure you have the right one. Search Pentatonix Aha Singapore the Star Vista. There are other Pentatonix Aha videos in Singapore, so make sure you get the Star Vista part in there. When it starts, it's kind of a long shot of four of them on stage with a hole in the middle where Kevin just left to put his cello away. You won't see him, but don't worry ... you will hear him.

I agree with other Pentaholics, I love the idea of reviewing Aha on your anniversary (you may have to make that date up, may I suggest my birthday July 6th!!!) Do me a favor though, watch the music video of Aha first, then watch the live performance in Singapore. Love to see them viewed together!

Just warch it! Mitch goes all out and it is just fun to watch and get into! PTX is one of my two favorite groups. My other top favorite is Walk Off The Earth from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Like PTX, the do a lot of covers with their own twist. The are famous for one take shoots that are extremely complex. Also like PTX, they are talented singers and musicians. They are also a fun band to see live. And now they are putting out their own music. You may have heard 'Fire In My Soul'. I recommend their version of Lords 'Royals' as an example ofbtheir complexities. They've initially came to KZfaq fame when they had five members sining 'Somebody I Used To Know' all on one guitar. I recomend WOTE to you as they have covered many of the same songs as PTX and you can compare them together. One thing about a really talented group doing a cover us that they bring something unique to their covers. PTX and WOTE make their own notable impressions. Have fun reacting...

I'd honestly check out PTX sing off performances before AHA! My personal favorite is episode 12- Dog Days are Over. I've never seen them work it that hard live although AHA! is amazing but it's a Mitch centric as opposed to the PTX vid. For me anyway. Also, I noticed you're loving Scott lately. Check out his cover of All of Me. It's so moving. Also, Avi covering Man of Constant Sorrow just touches my heart. I think you should see it regardless of whether you make a reaction video or not.
