This is the Swiss made Thorens "The Bare Essentials (Down To Basics)" model #766 AD-30 musical disc player. The solid walnut cabinet speaks of it's elegant simplicity. The Swiss made Thorens AD-30 (automatic disc 30 tooth comb) musical mechanism plays metal 4-1/2" musical discs and has been professionally serviced and restored to "AS NEW" condition by the seller (work included installing a new nylon pinion gear), Music Box Repair Center Unlimited, and comes with a seller provided 2 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The musical mechanism features a winding key and a start/ stop lever. Included with this piece is a new 5 disc set of musical discs, as well as an instruction sheet on how to use the musical mechanism.
