Even direct to consumer brands are struggling to offer good value these days. Six years ago I bought a Canyon Spectral AL 7EX, with a Pike, full GX, SRAM wheels and proper Maxxis tires, for £1,800. You'd be lucky to get a Rockshox 35 and SX for that money these days... Crazy times. Still very happy with my Spectral though and no plans to "upgrade" anytime soon.

I'm feeling You. Back in 2020 (2 weeks before covid started i bought my current bike on sale for $2200 FS 29er Lyrik and Super Deluxe ultimate, Codes RSC and X01 drivetrain with GX Cassette and Cranks. Now it would be hard to get anything beyond Deore and Yari/35

I bought a Banshee Phantom V3 frame, a year and a half ago... as I wanted a shorter travel, trail bike option in my quiver. Fast forward to today & it's running a 140mm Fox Factory 36 up front, it's running as a Mullet w/ Exo+ 2.5 Assegai up front & a Gravity 2.6 Eliminator out back, it has 4 pot SRAM Guide RE brakes on 203+180mm rotors. In a few weeks, it'll be doing lift assisted bike park laps 🤘 Tis the most stable bike in my fleet. The 115mm rear travel no. is definitely misleading. Bike is anything but Down Country, with it's rubber firmly planted in the All Mountain category.... and it'll happily swim in the Enduro end of the pool 🤘

I've been a huge fan of Fezzari for their customer service. They really seem to care about the rider over profits. I have 3+ years and a million miles on the cascade peak and I love it more and more every ride. Glad you're now a fan!

@@LoveMTB they seem to be on and off lately, especially when they did sales. They have been slow-ish at times but always helpful in the end.

Yes I've heard of fezzari. Recently just picked up a signal peak that I had built to spec. They gave me a bike that I wanted and in my budget. I feel I got a good deal for what it was. Should be a great bike. Service and communication was great. There was one problem that came up and in the end they fixed it. Can't wait for it to warm up after the holidays and ride it.

im so glad i completed my bike fleet before cov id, the cost of the current version of my mtb is 30% higher and road bike is 80% more

Hay, I live in UT and I have a fezzari signal peak I love it. It is the trail version. It is a semi custom build I love it fezzari is a great company.

The pivot point near chainring is a bit low, isn't it? I can see they prioritize less pedal kickback at the cost of lower anti-squat. For the extra cush ride feel.

Looking on the Fezzari website it appears the Signal Peak SL is available in both the 100mm travel and 120mm travel if you buy the frameset alone. Is this a correct statement?

@@LoveMTB If you go to the Signal Peak page and scroll down to the build specs and open the frameset tab it says the SL is 115mm travel. Maybe this is a typo but it definitely says 115mm.
