Exact same thing has happened to me. A friend sent me 9 videos and a photo. The photo is the only thing that downloaded

If you are on WiFi and everything else is working fine then its not the internet.Also if you tried the other tips and they did not work then Chances are this is a Whatsapp error that's happening to several people or even globally.
