Can't wait. People moan about then lineups but nowhere has quite that same early noughties Kerrang/Scuzz vibes. Me and the missus will be flying from Ireland for the third time for it. This year I promise to continue getting one last bottle of white wine in the Co-Op way too late at night, in preparation for the first drop of Limp Bizkit in the Doghouse.

Great tips Simon! May I add a few myself? For keeping your kit dry, I use a rucksack liner. Stops my clothes getting damp and they're so much more effective than bin liners. And adding to your point about sleeping bags, take the comfort temperature rating with a pinch of salt. I have one that's supposed to be comfy at -1 celsius, but I still had to wear a thermal base layer and a hoodie. Just don't expect to stay warm in it if you're stark bollock naked! And I would personally use combat boots over wellies. Sure, wellies are waterproof, but they're not exactly the most comfortable things to wear when you're on your feet all day. Well broken in army boots should do the trick nicely.

Have you seen the layout for this year? Blue/yellow/black camps are essentially on a huge hill. Those of you who have camped in the west car park before will know that there's a pretty steep incline into where the village will be this year. I recommend good sturdy boots as well as wellies and plenty of spare socks. Your feet will thank you.

Just get a hotel in derby and have a much more comfortable time lol, only joshing man great vid! Just download camp sites so far away from venue if you dont arrive early i prefer the hotel and bus in each day, do camp at bloodstock but much smaller site

2016 was so bad weather wise that I’m surprised I went the next year luckily by then I was a download veteran and was in rip (that probably helped)😂

I once took a £30 single layer pop up tent to download…. Baddest decision I ever made, it was leaking on the first day I was there, all my stuff got absolutely soaked including my sleeping bag. It Ruined the whole festival

Ive only ever been download once for the day not done a weekend but plan to this yr, if you have your own medication and must bring it what is security like at both campsite and main arena entrance points with that? Do u have to show i.d cause your name is on the labels of the medication stuff like that really

Does the arena area get really muddy in bad weather, or just the camping areas? This will be my first time attending but I am staying in a hotel and have arena/hot ticket entry.

Can you take as much drinks as you want to the campsite ? Just not into the arena ?

Hi bud cheers for the info 👍...May I ask your good self a few questions pls?... First one, how far a walk is it from the car to the campsite? 2nd, If the camping thing went tits up, are you allowed to sleep in your car in an emergency? What time do u reckon arriving at the event to set up before kick off? Trying to get as much heads up as possible as I'm bringing a huge Metal loving 12 year old.

Can you just turn up with your car and get a pass as you turn up or do you have to pre order a car park pass... Because I can't get any on the website??
