Taggers have graffitied what appears to be more than 25 stories of a downtown Los Angeles skyscraper that’s been sitting dormant for several years. John Fenoglio reports for KTLA 5 News at 10, Jan. 31, 2024.

From the looks of it I’d even say it’s like 87% complete since the glass is installed, it may just be empty in terms of electric installation and internal features. I wonder why the city isn’t putting these buildings to use yet.

They get a break on all the zoning and cost and tax breaks on a promise they will develop, from corrupt democrat run cities and politicians who push the projects, they then use preferred contractors list, friends of family and family and donors supplied by democrats politicians who get kickbacks and campaign contributions from all the contractors and then they run out of money, leave the property to increase in value over a decade while devaluing everything around it which is then bought up by Chinese investors and companies like black rock. In other words democrats selling us out.

Considering that we never hear of Migrants not coming to California or being bused in, only New York - Texas - Martha's Vineyard. I would be inclined to believe that they are likely being housed there and not being covered by news agencies. Possibly that is how it has gone unnoticed for as long as it has. You mean to tell me all of those floors were tagged and nobody was able to stop some of those floors from being tagged??

I love everything about graffiti.... Its my favorite kind of art in the whole world. Im always impressed how good it looks especially since they paint in the dark while being in a hurry trying to be unseen. Comes out beautiful..... most of them steal the paint too. I love the whole process

They consider this "graffiti" and I really don't know about this instance, but I think it's done well. Not just "graffiti" if you get what I'm saying. Graffiti terminology; a tag is a name written or sprayed with paint. Those are letters which have been filled in, which are called "pieces". Also, they are not merely" tagging". They are collectively "bombing", which takes more time, detail, and uses a greater amount of color than tagging.

No. The building owners need regulations. In Fl there are buildings chipping away cause they just sit there for years with nothing in the building. The journalist said some chinese company owns it and just left it. A lot of ppl are doing this.

Six figures worth of damages to the builder and it's a simple cite and release. Also Gascon routinely drops charges because this is considered "crimes of the poor". Zero consequences. I'm not even sure why the police even bothered to respond.

That should be a prison worthy offense. There was a tagger in the 90s "GKAE1" who got busted for vandalism like that and did years in a state pen. You get what you allow.

Keep in mind graffiti is not art, it just a way for people to feel entitled to commit crime on other people’s properties. Real artists use their own canvas to display their true talent thru the RIGHT way not the evil way by inflicting pain of cost/money to the owner’s properties.
