There’s many ways to enter both of the parks mentioned. Aquarena Springs main entrance is on Post Road but can also be accessible via North LBJ to get to the “top” quicker. The other entrance is off of the street in between the school & gas station on Post Road. The parking lot is on the left about .25 mile past the school. My favorite trail is THE CASCADE. Dried up waterfall & creekbed. Five Mile Dam is also off of Post Road. You’ll see a railroad bridge to the left, you’ll want to go under that & the park will be on your left, can’t miss it. Purgatory Creek has multiple entrances as well. It is a multi-day trip. You can’t see it all in one day. Follow the Dante trail to start, you’ll see a lot. The more you venture out, you can follow the big reservoir barrier around to the other side where you’ll find SO MANY TREES. It’s like a different world. Further down the Dante, you’ll come across the Paridiso intersection. There is a massive Willow tree probably over 200 years old worth standing next to or hugging if that’s your thing. Crazy cliffs, caves, & more along the Dante. The more you venture out, the more you see. Have a blast, my friend! - John
