This is a virtual walking tour starting Downtown Seattle (city/town/village), Washington (Us State) to Capitol Hill, Seattle. We walk through Pike St, Pine St, and Broadway. We also walk by the Washington Convention Center, Paramount Theatre, and Seattle Central College.
Diverse Capitol Hill is packed with hip bars, eateries and gay clubs, plus laid-back coffee shops and indie stores. Volunteer Park, atop the hill in a historic mansion district, has walking trails, a plant conservatory, panoramic city views and the art deco Asian Art Museum. It abuts Lake View Cemetery, where the city’s founders (and Bruce Lee) are buried. Kids play in the wading pool at smaller Cal Anderson Park. [wikipedia]
Skyscrapers overlook Elliott Bay in Seattle’s compact Downtown. Shoppers buy local crafts and produce in vibrant Pike Place Market, with its eclectic restaurants and food stalls, or hit big-name stores like Nordstrom. The busy Central Waterfront has a giant Ferris wheel and the Seattle Aquarium, while cultural attractions in the wider area include the Seattle Art Museum and the 1928 Paramount Theatre. [wikipedia]

Capitol Hill looks like a really fantastic neighborhood. Wow. Not a lot of cities in the country that can boast urban bones and buzz like this outside of Downtown. Very impressive.

that video is wonderful ..many thanks sir .... this city is really amazing ..dream city .... and Capitol Hill looks really a cool place .. i still wonder if seattle has a main chopping center ..like a street where you can have different clothing stores , book stores , souvenir stores ..but in one street or area ....

Yup. The area near the West Lake Center, which to me feels like the core Downtown area has all the shops, restaurants and banks. It's in my first Downtown Seattle video. This video begins at the Eastern end of the core Downtown area
