Thanks again Denise. Glad you really enjoy them! I just got back from recording a really late night walk (after midnight) and decided to make it narrated. Hopefully the storm didn't cause too much harm!

As a Torontonian who moved to Auckland (New Zealand) back in January, I love your videos. They let me keep track of the progress of some major builds going on, learn about some history, scratch some homesickness itch, plus shows me some cool bike trails (I now realized I should have cycled more!). Thanks for all the hard work you put into them.

Thanks Josh, glad they're appreciated! It might seem like hard work but I enjoy it (at least more than my actual work) so it's really just a hobby I might be getting carried away with ha. There are some great bike trails here. New Zealand is one of the most desirable places on the planet right now, enjoy it there!

Thanks For the Great Work Vids. Being born & living in Halifax N.S. I do have a special heart for Toronto. It makes you appreciate it. Memories of visiting it. I like it and Don't. I think that goes for anybody good days and bad days wherever you live. Toronto has a great vibe. Always has. Yeah sometimes, people can be inverted and kind of snobby but, that could be in any major city. Thanks again My man. Fellow Canadian 🍁🇨🇦

Hi johnny, Would you make some videos about the very basic things like street cars n all for the audience of some developing countries of 10 min or so. That would be fun. Like every small thing including roads, signboards, decorations, comparison. I hope u understand.🙂🙂🥰
@JohnnyStrides

I can do stuff like that but I like sticking to videos that are one continuous shot (not edited into pieces). That's one of the themes on this channel is just experiencing the city as it is with little to no edits.

I guess I will have to show my face sooner or later, or maybe with just a mask haha... Originally the videos were 100% about the experience of being in the city as a pedestrian or walking, the voice overs were just to introduce the video then I shut-up but I guess things evolve and change over time, similar to what happened with ActionKid's channel. He used to never show his face either but has been doing more live streaming lately and has himself has become central to his channel. I don't know if I will go that far but I guess I should spin the camera around and say hi at some point!

Sadly the real job is not exciting at all... this started as a hobby as I have always been into tech and built a new computer and bought some cameras and other toys and needed to find a purpose for them. So I learned some basic video editing and just started making videos which evolved into long form walking and cycling videos... I've always found time for this as I enjoy it and would rather be out walking then wondering which crappy movie to watch half of then give up on Netflix or Prime lol The pandemic has helped and now I have managed to free up more of my time so there will be even more videos coming ;)

Pretty sure that Starbucks on King and Yonge, is where Rohini Bisesar used to hang out during the day. She was found not criminally responsible, in view of her schizophrenia, for the death of Rosemarie Junor, whom she stabbed in an underground drugstore. Some info if you ever walk along Queen Street, Verity Club, one of the only successful women's private clubs which has a very unique 3-room hotel attached (or did when I was in Toronto -- you'll have to check current status). George, one of most exclusive restaurants attached. Humane Society on River (and Queen), I think. On Toronto Street, old post-office building, Conrad Black's old offices.
