I had this bad boy since last Nov. I also bought their rubber strap. Bad boy has been to Bangladesh, Kenya and Tanzania throughout my whole business trip in Nov 2022.

Love what Doxa is doing. They don't try to be anything else than their heritage. They have a clear purpose in their design language and don't try to borrow design elements from familiar designs. I tried coloured dials before. It's not me so Sharkhunter was always the only option, so Army brings me closer to my first Doxa.

I've tried the Army on bracelet on and really like it. I need to figure out how to get one into my collection. It definitely fits with that unique design. I just have to figure out my priorities for purchase. I am very glad they came out with a regular production model, and the camo design on that NATO strap is excellent.

Nice review of a great brand. I like this one but for me I would rock it on a simple black single pass nato or like you said the bracelet

It’s quirky, it’s a classic and yet it’s something new, it’s a watch for watch guys and yet still flies under mosts radar. It’s bold and original, but true to Doxa design language. The colors are all over the place, yet work so well together. I absolutely love it. If only the price tag were a bit more modest 😢

Original? Looks like a copy of a Seiko 6105 Willard,other than the 4 o’clock crown position. I bought mine in 1976 at the Base Exchange and it was affordable.

The yellow or the orange dial is the way to go with the steel bezel.

I have hard time with mostly Chinese made items that only get their Swissness from being assembled in Switzerland. Still love that quirky watch.

Get a Caribbean or Sharkhunter and stick with that… Army dial too fussy

The rubber bracelet and the clasp at really badly paired with this amazing watch. The rubber is too clean, it must be cut, and the clasp looks huge. The best option for this watch is a tropic strap. Not sure why they has to complicate things, when their rival, Sychron, is shipping their watch with a tropic and it fits perfectly.

I dig the look of Doxas in general and would consider buying one if not for the $2K+ pricepoint for an ETA movement and poor lume. They seem to be in that niche where similarly priced Seiko models live--attractive, decent company pedigree, but overly hyped by enthusiasts/fluffers, and not a very good value for the money. Honestly, I'd rather throw down $200 for a Seestern and wear it guilt free as it was meant to be.

Sure its nice, even really nice... but, and here is the but...Come on,, that prime spec for an ETA 2824.. get real

On the official site DOXA for this watch mentioned 25 rubies (ETA 2824-2 for me better.. Now I would like to buy this watch but I'm afraid of mistakes or tell me something wrong
