yeah; hilarious. the city was (or is) broke but sure can "dance" swell on city time for fun. glad, at least; the chief did not drop his utility belt with the firearm still in it. that would of been a "new" running man with a round discharge. if it did; i would not be surprised. these things are as stupid as they are childish. OK; at a wedding or such/function on your "own" time. one city in florida had their city mascot dancing with their SWAT team/with their tactical firearms. Wow. jim hensen/of the "muppets" would have been impressed/complimented. no it does not make the "police" more relatable or "human". it is immature and "childish". yes; probably every person with a graduate degree and/or former military will want to "join" DPD after this "dance" and a recruiting poster.

Detroit's response to the challenge is the purest so far -- no need to resort to fancy camera work and crazy aerial shots. The choregraphy is the best yet -- only Miami-Dade comes (very) close. Bonus points for involving children and 4- and 5-star brass in the event. This should be a community event that builds goodwill and Detroit gets it right. And smart to include a recruitment poster at the end.

I love this video of Detroit Police is a brighter light of having a fun time. I have police officers in my family and we pray that they make it home to their family every night. There are some great officers and a few bad apples in the bunch, but we cannot throw all the officers under the boat. Love the video of Detroit Police Officers dancing and looking happy.

I just viewed cincy's running man challenge and it was ok....their officers couldn't touch DPD's. Also, I thought their various mixes took away from the main theme and you can tell by the dance sequences. The lil girl dancers were okay....but they emphasized too much on them to strecth out the video. Now, their video aerial shots were great and no one could argue the ending message...but as it pertains to sticking to the guns (theme) of the challenge. I'll have to give my city the heads up! Detroit stood up and out! :D
