Dpeezy I respect you for this. I work as a chef for the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation center in San Jose CA and I pick up food donations 3 days a week and whatever I cannot use or any surplus I drop off at a homeless encampment a few blocks away from the center. Everyone there is very grateful and it feels good to know that God has blessed me with the privilege to help other people out. I wish you many blessings in your life and your endeavors. I too was homeless years ago and its not many people who are willing to help at an in person level like you did in this video. Great work my brotha.

I respect this you, ThatWasEpic, Jimmy Darts, CripMac and others that does this. You see a lot of other people with a huge following that don’t give a damn and only post videos of themselves flexing or food for themselves and that is a damn a shame. But at the same time there’s needs to be something done about this and the homeless needs to also contribute to society as well not just go around doing nothing, it goes both ways.

Hey DPeezy, I have a suggestion for what “more” you could do, if you ever have the desire to put resources and time in to do so later on. It’s inspired by another KZfaqr I follow, Jen Cutting. She would put together “go bags”, essentially they are drawstring bags and filled with toiletries and non perishable food items (granola bars, beef jerky sticks, bottled water,etc.), and even unisex clothing items, some stationary supplies, basic first aid items, harm reduction products, etc. However, that being said, I think a hot meal and cold drink is doing plenty more than what many are able to do. It’s amazing that you even had the desire to give back, which is more than many are willing to do.

If only more of America was as kind and generous and just genuine as you! Coming from a recovering addict and felon released from prison in 2020 the most difficult thing is just life in general, making ends meet, being a dad to my children and now my niece who just lost her dad (my little brother 28yr old) just 6 months ago..
