Listen to him after midnight on the road, it hits waaay different EDIT: you should look at his interviews where he talks about his life and how he uses music to cope or express himself or his live stream. His mind is crazy creative and sometimes he talks about his productions on live and shows his process

You mentioned that his songs have crazy switch ups this is mostly because of his DID and him switching between alters and then creating music or adding to songs that the other was working on. Basically, Mito and Mr. Insanity actually help produce and write a lot of his music. Interestingly, he said he doesn’t edit or change what Mito or Mr. Insanity does music wise. Mito’s style includes a lot of orchestral elements and Mito’s voice can actually reach an octave that is lower than what Ian himself can hit. Mito’s style is really showcased in the skins demo which was entirely made by Mito including the music video. Skins is basically Mito telling his side and is kind of a message to Ian about how he feels. Also, there is a Mito ver of Don’t Go Insane which sounds very different to the original, which was mostly made by Ian and Mr. Insanity. Insanity’s style is more upbeat and playful like in So I danced. Ian’s style is hard for me to pin down personally because I think it’s a bit more of a mix but the song zombie pop was, I believe, made solely by Ian himself. There is also what Ian calls “the Hybrid” which was only recently showcased in Limbo so we don’t know much about the Hybrid yet but I imagine there will be more about the Hybrid coming in the future. You should totally watch Ian’s interview with Say What Reacts here on youtube. It is over 2 hours long but he goes really into depth about his DID and also how that affects his music and artistic process including directing his music videos.

I am so happy you finally got to his second album, his most recent has some incredible gems and visuals as his usual. He also just surprised the dreamers with a collab announcement with IU for her upcoming song. It looks like he directed or at the very least did the visuals and he might be on the track as well! I'm super excited for him and the rest of the DPR team. Speaking of the team, DPR Arctic came out with a song that Ian featured on called Do or Die. I think you would really like it. There are so many amazing artists I am excited to listen through as you discover them! The DPR Live recently did a new album under his name Dabin, the album is called Giggles.

okay its ian... like THE artist of my life.. its okay, let's go i'm ready to tell you everything you ask. Mito is one personality (when ian's in his manic low episodess) and there's also Mr Insanity (when he's in his manic high episodes). Ian is bipolar and has DID as well. The albums Mito 1 and Mito 2 are of course about/in the perspective of Mito, while the album Dear Insanity... is of course about Mr Insanity. Recently he released a track called Limbo and he said that it's about a new personality that is kind of a merge between mr insanity and mito. There's a music video for mito 2 called " Miito Movie pt 1" (there's no part 2) that has the songs Seraph, One Shot, Mood and Ribbon and there's also the Miito Movie Teaser that plays Ballroom Extravaganza but its as the name says a teaser. In case you are interested, these orchestral vibes are the sound signature for Mito and the sudden changes in the songs happen when ian goes into a manic episode. Also everytime there's a low pitched voice it means that it's Mito talking. There are so many things i can say about his music videos, songs, behind stories, things he said about songs/mvs/storyline.... Ian is a pretty chill guy really, just as his voice sounds, people might feel intimidated by his appearence but his so cool and relaxed.

I love this album!! Ian's mind is incredible! I want to recommend you a new artist!! It's a k-rock band called Xdinary Heroes! They are from JYP and I think you would have fun discovering their sound, i hope i can see them here someday! ❤
