Okay so clearly Scru hasn’t been reacting to DPS that long cuz his old raps specifically his original carnage rap were like Wikipedia articles. I still thought they were entertaining raps but he clearly has improved greatly since then. Which is why I’m so happy he’s been going back to his old songs to revamp them to his new style. Like he did with the Batman Who Laughs

Carnage is a character a lot of people are sleeping on. It's going to be interesting how the movie turns out. Is Marvel going to allow Carnage to be true to the comics and not another cookie cutter villain? Hopefully, Woody helps with that. I think that's a good casting choice, him or the dude that played Rorshach. Carnage could change the MCU game. Also, Scru! I didn't know you react to DPS. I agree with your take on DPS getting into the character on his raps and not wiki status. He always has the same flow but he can make the songs sound different based on the character. I personally like the Joker raps.

Unfortunately, Carnage is not part of the official MCU, at least not yet anyway. Sony still has the movie rights and can do pretty much whatever they want with him. I agree about Woody Harrelson though, if you’ve seen Natural Born Killers you know that man can play the part to perfection if allowed. ~_~

Guy is just disturbing and I already know it's gonna take away from the character because Sony producers have entirely way too much influence on how a movie is made

What I think hits hardest for me in this song is the multiple flow switches. Carnage is insane and extremely out of control. Switching the flows so fast and fluidly feels like he is emphasizing this fact very subtlety. Its Genius. ALSO... Chorus would be brutal at a live show. Someone getting jacked up. Lol

9:35 I understand this is a popular opinion, and it's the evolution of nerdcore, but I can't help to miss the older versions of these songs. Hell just with DPS he had a whole trilogy set up with Venom, Carnage, and Spiderman & Venom vs Carnage. To this day I still think his Juggernaut rap is some of his best work, something about how gruff it is.

I actually miss more and more references because I don't understand them, and I don't feel I should be expected to when listening to nerd core. I feel like him slowly increasing the volume on carnage incarnate.... and raising the pitch by maybe a third between the first and second verse and then throwing it almost into a wild near screamo on the last verse one octave higher CARNAGE INCARNATE, I'M CARNAGE INCARNATE! Then make it run out the song for 3 extra goes would %100 blow the roof off the place. That would turn this from a an A- song to a SSS tier nercore song.
