Hey, pretty, lovely lessons. I have a question regarding your headset: Is it connectable to the phone, too? I mean, can you use it for phone interpreting? Thank you very much for you time, interest in helping us and courage to do it. Love you ❤

Great information. One question In you experience, did the qualification( DPSI law) increased contracts and your earnings significantly? Thank you in advance for your reply

@@Colourandwellbeing Yes is answer! With a DPSI, you have access to the highest paid jobs as an interpreter and more importantly, once you've obtained the qualification and have documented 400 hours of interpreting work, you can become a registrant of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters, which elevates your status as a professional interpreter and makes you more marketable. A DPSI means that many agencies will put you on the highest payment tier. The qualification sets you apart as a dedicated professional, who has the skills needed to carry out complex work. Obtaining it in 2015 was one of the best professional decisions I've ever made and I've been building on it ever since. I hope it helps :)

Do you know if I can create my own glossary, print and use it? I would truly appreciate a reply as I have the written exam next week. Thank you

Thank you for your comment. First thing - are you sitting the exam with DPSI Online, ISL or Chartered Institute of Linguists? They should have their own regulations. If it's the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the best thing would be to email them at: info.dpsi@ciol.org.uk Explain your situation, send them a sample of your glossary and see what they say. Best of luck :)

@@TipsForInterpreters wow! thank you so much! Can't wait next episode :) I'm working in Russian, Ukrainian and Latvian. I'll try to get DPSI in Russian. I use 'TRY' because I just receved information from CIOL telling that only 20-30% pass the qualification exam.
