I was upset DeLuca died but I actually feel like this is the nicest way Grey’s has ever let go of a character. Derek was a big deal and even he didn’t have a memorial. So as sad as I am about DeLuca, I really do appreciate this memorial the writers added in. Well done

As a big sister, my heart just shattered for Carina. To lose your baby brother, who you’ll always see as a little boy, no matter how annoying they are, it must be gut wrenching 💔💔💔

this had be sobbing. he really did give them his best self. to everyone. never leaving amelias side, going to jail for meredith, treating her children like his own, saving jackson not knowing if he would be okay, saving all the children from trafficking, saving richards life, being arizona’s friend, he really was amazing. he was finally getting better and treating himself correctly. he deserved so much better. he deserved time in his blue scrubs.

Deluca’s death didn’t hit me until seeing this. When he popped up on the screen I completely lost it 💔

I literally was sitting on my couch sobbing when I watched this last night. Ever since his first appearance DeLuca was one of my favorites and I miss him so much. I will literally be furious if the only reason they killed him was to get Mer and Hayes together.

I will never forgive the Greys team for what they did with the character DeLuca. It was disrespectful to his storyline, to the character's fans and to the people who identified with him. He deserved more, he could have had a beautiful love story, he became a respected doctor with prizes and he gave you a voice to overcome mental health. This was unfortunate, especially in a year when our mental health was greatly affected by the pandemic.

He was the first person to fix Zola’s wings after Derek and he’s gone too🥺

I'm still crying right now while writing this 😭😭 I don't know what it is but his death hit me harder than any other character who has died on the show. DeLuca was a hero and he deserved so much better than what he was given.

Can we talk about Stefania's acting? she killed it this week and last week, both in Station19 and Greys. I also love how supportive Maya was of Carina and how patient she was, the way she also gave her some space. damn their scene at the fire station when they screamed was one of my favorite scenes in both shows. Danielle and Stefania deserve more recognition

As an Italian-Canadian, it is so rare to see Italians play professionals that aren't mob-related. I was thrilled when his character was introduced. Such a loss on many levels.

Teddy is on the brink of being in a catatonic state and nobody bothered to check on her. So many characters on the show have had affairs and did their own share of bedhopping. This is so upsetting to see Teddy off by herself. People make mistakes.

I am not a fan of Deluca, but I started crying for Carina. Her grief was so well portrayed and it affected me, but when they showed him in the video I lost it completely. I didn't even sob for Derek and this made me bawl like a baby

Wish that the show had included the audio to people's comments about how Dr. Andrew DeLuca made an impact and difference in their lives. Including Andrew DeLuca's video interview for when he applied for residency at Grey Sloane Memorial Hospital into his memorial video tugged at our heartstrings and broke many of us down. 💔

George, Derek, Christina, Stephanie, and now Deluca... all characters that clearly Grey's Anatomy writers really loves and valued. Each one of those characters had major departures from the show and said character didn't leave without a huge impact and send off. George's death still plays a huge part in the show, over 10 seasons ago. Derek's death is obvious. Christina's spirit is still in the show, even if Sandra Oh isn't visible. Stephanie had a hero's send off with saving a little girl and killing a rapist, only to run through a wall of fire to save a life. Now Deluca...

This was a fantastic way for Grey Sloan to remember DeLuca. He looked up to the veterans, especially, Richard, Miranda and Meredith. Loved the relationship between Andrew and his sister Carina. Seeing Carina break down in tears shows how much Andrew meant to her.

i think out of all the deaths i’ve watch in this show i cried the hardest for andrew. he was one of my favorite characters and the memorial that they gave him broke my heart and made me so sad.

He was the best character in Grey's. I haven't recovered. I still cry every bloody time I see his face or hear his name.

This memorial is very emotional and touching and I get very choked up watching it. I only wish that we could hear what some of the other hospital staff are saying about him. RIP, Andrew Deluca.😪

Omg I cried and cried. I loved DeLuca. I wished he didn’t die. He was great. He was one of the best. I was very upset when Alex left. His goodbye letter was heartbreaking. He was Merideth’s person. They were the best of friends. He was so good.I wish he comes back one day. Now, Owen can’t die! He’s one of the originals. Bailey and Weber have to stay with Merideth to the very end. They are the Grey’s Anatomy! I learned so much from this show. I took notes all along. I have been in medical field for 49 years. There’s no shows like Grey’s Anatomy. The greatest shows I have watched.

DeLuca's death was the saddest moment that happened in Grey's. It's so heartbreaking to watch (Station 19) Carina mourn I hope writers give Maya and Carina a happy life together now that they're starting to build a family. Carina deserves so much.
