Dr. Chris Knobbe is an ophthalmologist and Associate Clinical Professor Emeritus, formerly of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas. He is also the founder and president of Cure AMD Foundation, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to the prevention of vision loss from age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Dr. Knobbe has a deep interest in general nutrition, particularly as it relates to chronic degenerative disease, though his primary area of expertise is with the disorder AMD. AMD is the leading cause of irreversible vision loss and blindness in people over the age of 65, currently affecting approximately 196 million people worldwide.
Dr. Knobbe’s research efforts and revolutionary hypothesis for the nutritional basis of AMD have resulted in a published scientific paper, a book - Ancestral Dietary Strategy to Prevent and Treat Macular Degeneration - a website, CureAMD.org, and a second book currently in the making. Knobbe’s current research focuses substantially on omega-6 seed oil consumption as a major unifying driver of the chronic degenerative diseases of civilization, including AMD.

She ate Margarine and cooked with PUFA oils. Meanwhile, my grandfather ate a keto diet before it was called that :) All animal fats, bacon fat and butter. He was a coal miner with Miners Asthma but lived to be 85. When his lungs gave out he was hospitalized with pneumonia, they did tests on his arteries. Ill never forget what they told my father. HE HAS THE ARTERIES OF A 16 YEAR OLD!!! That made no sense to me at the time. I was always telling him that all that saturated fat was going to clog his arteries.

Turn blender on low and add about 1/4 cup of cold pressed, real olive oil threw the hole. Now add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon Apple cidar vinegar. Switch to cold pressed avocado oil. Add about half a cup. Stop and add 1 teaspoon each of mustard and paprika. Continue adding avocado oil until it starts to pool on top. It`s because they are unstable. Take for example guys who cold presses flax or hemp or any other seeds. You wont hear from them that shelf life is 1 year or more. For flax I`ve heard 1 week max, for hemp - 1 month, but the faster you eat it, the better. Eat right after you pressed it would be just perfect. Only then it will give benefit, not poison you when becoming rancid. I gave up on that. Now I`m just crushing little amount of flax before consuming it. Yeah, can get that fancy machine, but it takes up space. As for refined oils - it`s simply not food. Completely dead and stripped of life.

Sugars, refined flours, seed oils. Done, done and done. Feeling GREAT! And no one in my circle or tribe has any interest - due to what they have learned for their whole life. It's sad really. 3 whole generations lost to disease propagated by industry. And it will take another generation or two to sort it out. Remember the tobacco companies fought for 50 years. They only had profits from smokers. The food industry, chemical industry, grocers, agriculture industries, media, and advertising industries all have a vested financial interest in keeping this quiet, and profits from everyone who eats. Keep in mind a diet of all seed oils and refined flours is vegan. There's a reason that is being pushed, and its not the humane treatment of animals.

I started checking the ingredients in everything I bought and realized that 99% were using seed oils as fillers??? In all products??? I thought I was doing something healthy by eating salads every night. Then I realized all the dressings were 90% seed oils. Couldn't understand why I didn't lose any weight??? I cut out the seed oils, and I've lost 20 pounds in 2 months!!!! And I thought I was already thin??? I was 5-11" and 168 lbs, and went to 148 lbs just cutting out seed oil foods. I was in shock because I thought I was thin already!!!! But weight is not the most important thing, I can't imagine what those toxic oils were doing to my health overall??? My sleep is better, I have tons of energy, and feel like my brain is firing twice as fast. I'm just at the beginning of my no seed oil journey, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!! I eat tons of cheese, and cook everything in butter mostly, some olive oil, and lard. and I keep losing weight. And I eat a ton of whole wheat bread, and pasta. This is insane. Everything everyone says about health should be questioned. You just need to experiment for yourself. But I agree with this video. STAY AWAY FROM SEED OILS.

My twin brother and I are almost solely carnivore. He have been this way for over 4 years now and we also cut out all harmful fats. We are very healthy and have lost a lot of weight. After my first year, I felt like I was 20 years old again. I am 44 today. Sadly, my brother, father and sister had died before we could introduce them to a healthier lifestyle of food. Even when my mother died a few years ago, we tried to get her to change, but it was with reluctance and also too late. The decades of misinformation that my family had learned and trusted is what helped kill them. Hopefully you all have the chance to heed this warning to your family before it is too late. It is difficult to convince anybody that you have more knowledge on nutrition than their own doctor, but perhaps take baby steps first, like convincing them to watch this video and others like it that educate them on not only healthy eating habits, but how and why we were duped in the first place. Wow! I believe I got cancer from these oils! I was eating out, especially loving Chinese food, which has a lot of soybean oil and sugar in it. I had to have a hysterectomy and the cancer is gone (praise God). However, if i continue to eat the way I was eating, I’d most likely get sick again. Thank you so very much for your video. It is a life changer for me. I will share this with my friends and loved ones. God bless you. Please continue to spread this valuable information.

I have a theory that Multiple Sclerosis and Guillain-Barré are mainly caused by replacing ancestrally appropriate animal fats with dubiously named vegetable oils. Since myelin, the protective insulation surrounding our nerves, is made up almost entirely of fat (preferentially saturated fat), and those cells are replaced on a regular basis, then the body would have to use whatever fat resources are available. If all, or most of the fat that a person consumes is from these inflammatory substances, and that's all that there is available to replace the cells, then it makes sense that the immune system would see the new inflammatory, artificial material making up the myelin as a foreign substance. It might be hard to get the funding, but it wouldn't take too much surveying of households to see what their diet is made of and when or if their transition to these poisons at least correlates to the appearance of M.S. or G.B. symptoms.

We got fat in the U.S. because people gorge on food. Stuff their faces like it's their last frickin meal. He can go on and on about the dangers of oils but you best believe we're leading the world in obesity because of the staggering amount of calories we're consuming relative to the almost non-existent level of exercise. Canola oil, contrary to Dr. Knobbe, actually has heart BENEFITS when compared to most saturated fats. There's numerous studies to refer to if you don't believe me. The real poison in processed foods is high fructose corn syrup, which is consumed like crack cocaine and is almost as addictive. I agree with him that there needs to be much more information and education with nutrition in this Country but the bottom line is this- STOP eating so much damn food and get off your butt and start moving. So simple yet so incomprehensible to most Americans.

@@Dana-wq5tp - But why are Americans always hungry? It eat way less now but hardly ever feel hungry. I'm sorry but if Americans are always stuffing food in their face it is a sign that something is wrong with their body. Doesn't mean they are greedy or lazy. A hungry human is going to eat but by eating the right kinds of food that human will no longer be hungry - they didn't all of a sudden cure their "greed"

@@Dana-wq5tp - "canola crops are genetically modified (GMO) to improve oil quality and increase plant tolerance to herbicides (1). In fact, over 90% of the canola crops grown in the United States are GMO (2Trusted Source). Canola crops are used to create canola oil and canola meal, which is commonly used as animal feed. Canola oil can also be used as a fuel alternative to diesel and a component of items made with plasticizers, such as tires." I dunno, doesn't sound too healthy. But you have to wonder why do populations that eat loads of animal Saturated fat or Coconut Sat fat have low levels of heart disease? And if we shipped Canoli oil to Kenya would the heart problems go from 0.2% to 0.1% or would they go higher?
