I think myself as 'individual', I find myself/this physical reality so limited, trapped in dualities/polarities, separations, mortalities (having to kill to eat), longing for enduring/eternal Love, full of fears/pain ... never in balance in this 'physical' world. But when I imagine/understand the individual 'extention' that my physical being/identity is to my soul

Our GOD is an AWESOME GOD! He created our bodies & minds in this way that Dr David Hamilton is speaking of. He created every cell, molecule, etc. to work together perfectly for the good of our bodies, including our mental wellness. Mind over Matter.... Belief... The Science of Belief... once again science has proven what was already taught in the Book of Life, the book of instructions of what we need & how we need to do it. Not that it needed proving in my opinion =) Belief.. a powerful thing!!!

Our experiences constantly change the wiring in our brains, a phenomenon known as neuroplasticity. The more we do something, the more the brain physically changes as it wires it in. It means that our thoughts and attitudes become wired into our brains. But it also means that we can change our habits. In a true sense, it changes the way we look at things and, of course, the things we look at then change.

If you are seeking knowledge on the power of the heart. Would suggest you look at some of Gregg Braden's work. Just type Gregg Braden and you will have a multiple amount of Videos to watch.I personally like the Divine Matrix. Enjoy and remember the heart is working within six weeks of creation the brain is still developing years after birth.

Interesting interview but I would take issue with the depression / kindness link. It implies, perhaps unintentionally, that people suffering from depression do not perform acts of kindness for others, or that they are in some way ungrateful for the good things in life. That is simply not true. I have known people suffering from depression who are exceptionally kind, to the point that they are frequently taken advantage of by others. They are also grateful for the good things in life, yet still suffer from depression. Whatever the original cause(s), depression can become more complex as time goes on. It can also be deeply rooted and recovering from it requires help from a well-trained, well-qualified psychologist who knows what s/he is doing and who practices evidence-based modes of healing.

I think depression needs more than a 'well trained psychologist" as traditional talk therapies, whilst effective to a point, miss the connection between the Mind and body. Therefore can not work on clearing the negative energy that is held in our cellular memories (yes our bodies remember negative events). Hence why an integrated Mind Body approach works so effectively, as it allows us to find the causing events that lead to the perceptions, that created the beliefs that ultimately underpin everything in our existence. From the types of relationships we attract (due to negative beliefs about worth) so if people are getting used, it's because they most often carry beliefs (often subconscious) that attract these types of situations, and the cycle gets perpetuated, "I believe people will hurt me, people hurt me, because our Law of Attraction is set to expect that, then we feel let down and so we think people will hurt us, and the cycle starts again, we attract what we believe. Sometimes we just do not even now what those beliefs are, but we can find them by activating the feelings in the body, which lead us to subconscious thoughts. Change the beliefs, clear the energy associated to those limiting beliefs; through EFT, Tapping, Matrix Reimprinting or other energy work, and you have a far greater chance of overcoming Depression. Also done in a quicker timeframe due to the integration. So that years of talking about the issues is not necessary! Profound and Powerful. We are in a very exctiing paradigm of healing.

I wasn't referring to 'traditional talk therapies' like psychoanalysis, or similar. I was referring to seeing a psychologist with accredited academic training, who is experienced, empathetic, and has an understanding of evidence-based modes of healing. (In my country, anyone can technically set him/herself up as a psychologist, so it is important to find someone who knows what he/she is doing.) The therapy I had in mind was Schema Therapy, which draws on several schools of thought and has had documented success with people suffering from depression and other, even more intractable, psychological conditions. Schema Therapy includes talking but as more of a starting point. It involves examining the various lenses through which we view the world and how those cause us to feel, think and act in certain ways; connecting present issues with past traumas; visualisation; role-playing; mindfulness; body awareness (e.g. becoming conscious of where certain emotions are held in the body); among other techniques. Although it is partially based in CBT, it works more on changing the quality and energy of emotions than CBT does, so I sense it might have some parallels with energy work. It is able to get to the core of issues and false perceptions pretty quickly compared to traditional talk therapies. It also allows the patient/client to develop new ways of thinking and feeling about things in a natural, organic way, and affords him/her a much deeper understanding of self, which in my experience is vital for long-term healing. Regarding energy therapies, I don't know enough about these to comment but I know people who have found EFT and Reiki very helpful. I am interested to find out more.

What evidence based practices are you talking about? Been proven that talk therapy doesn't work and antidepressants are only as good as a placebo.

It would be nice if more show hosts would be quiet and allow the guest speakers to talk about their topic. The hosts are not the experts and would do well to stop interrupting so much. The most notorious one for this bad habit has the initials of "O.W."

Dear Renate, This world is purposive. We (as a collective Mind) made this world to clame our individuality... braking and shattering Oneness. This world is not from God! This explain why we do what we do.
