Me too. I've been in the spiritual path for 12 years and read many books. But Hawkins has come into my life yesterday when a few days ago I finally committed to let go and release everything that no longer serves me. I'm shocked that I haven't about him before, he's amazing.

@@beelover2827 interesting way to look at it but very passive which continues to make you “effect”. I learned that such meditative and therapeutic way of thinking or behaving brings you nothing but more problems. Look at the people of Tibet, they thought being one with the universe could help them and they got massacred by the Chinese. I sued those who owed me the money and won. Now I let it go and forgave them with all my heart. They are living in agony and loss, maybe they should mediate and let it go 😂😟😊

I'm struggling to let go. I control every aspect of my life. Some good, creating systems etc But also from a panicked state. I cry a lot, and I feel when I've let go absolutely naked which doesn't feel freeing. I think it's attached to all the abuse I've experienced. I hold my breathe, and I literally breathe myself. I know I am supported by the universe as I've had so many beautiful things happen. But.... still so much fear. I pray to let go with grace and ease. ❤️🙏🏾

Separate mind from emotion, watch both react as exterior events come in without judgement, become realization instead of imagination and develop inner peace. You still find anxiety and racing thoughts and emotions. But underneath you’re aware of it and always calm and forgiving. God has it all. Every day is your destiny no matter what you do. Sit back spiritually and watch it unfold. Remain engaged but unattached.

I love when he says in his lectures, "there is nothing really serious going on here." I'm a nurse and I say this at work all the time. And it helps! Maybe that sounds unloving, but it always has a positive effect on everyone and everything around me! Levity goes a long way. Laugh on!

Damn, I wish I'd had a chance to meet Hawkins. I love this man. What I like the most about him is that he's so real and down-to-earth. Unlike many other "wise men" like Eckhart Tolle or Sadhguru, Hawkins neither preens over his own spirituality (acting as if he invented meditation disciplines) nor behaves like a bully. He keeps it real and simple.

Yeah, Hawkins is the real deal :) One of his quotes begins: "Integrity and true honesty are not a hearts and flowers, holier-than-thou image game of pseudo-saintly television image and sanctimonious spirituality. Truth calls a spade a spade". It's in Power Vs Force somewhere. A couple of other true, fully-enlightened, Christ consciousness mystics I'm aware of are Krishnamurti and the comedian Norm MacDonald (who made a lot of dirty jokes as a way of shining light on various pervert-vampires, rendering them incapable of doing further harm, e.g. Michael Jackson). The world is full of child m0lesters, secret transe_xuals, and literal worshippers-of-lucifer, far more than most people realise. They do the majority of harm to humanity, so it's good to have people like Norm around to scare them goo. There are a lot of great videos made by truth-seekers on other video streaming sites. It's where they all went after being banned from here. Conspiracy theories, having looked into many of them with an open mind, most of them actually appear to be true, and were simply labelled "conspiracy theories" by those who want to discredit the truth. Also Roberto Benigni. All of them are true mystics, and not phoneys like Tolle and... I don't know much about sad-guru, but his name s*cks, so I'm already cautious, lol.

@don joe I don't see why you're attacking this person, with this moralistic position. If you're a student of Hawkins you'll know what you've written is the sort of thing he used to joke about all the time. It's like a textbook example of the ego getting defensive. I have nothing against someone standing up for their teacher, but what you said is sarcastic, and also attacks the original poster's character rather than the point they were making (ad hominem attack). Politicians do this. In a world crammed full of filthy child m0lesters and secret transe_xuals, to me farming communities seem quaint at best. Unless the plan is to "stone" these people to death with organic carrots. Lol. And if you're going to attempt to reply, first review the definition of gaslighting: "Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind. It happens when an abuser tries to control a victim by twisting their sense of reality. Gaslighters may also convince their victims that they're mentally unfit or too sensitive". Any figure who, from sheer force of bullying, demands that people bow down and bend over to hear his divine message has a game going on. If I see one more stupid Sadhguru video with him hamhandedly touting his erroneous logic, I'll vomit. He's laughable. Isn't it? As far as your assessment of me is concerned, I'd bet that I've done far, far more for many more needy people in my lifetime to date than you have ever done or will ever dream of doing. Now... toss off. But good luck with that job you've got peddling Sadhguru merchandise.

Beautiful. Thank you. The ego has a lot of resistance to this message. You can see that in the comments. My ego resists, too. But I have started really trusting and God always has my back. I encourage anyone who hasn't read his emotional description of his spiritual awakening to do so. He describes this in the first chapter in The Eye of the I. It is intense and powerful and impossible to describe. Just read it. It will change you.
