Be encouraged my sister. I understand what it is being a single mother. God blessed me with 4 sons and 1 daughter. My oldest living son is 58 years old. There were many days I felt like just giving up, I would call my mother crying, telling he I am tired of feeling like a failure. Mt mother would pray until she could feel I was being lifted. Many times I could hear my mother's voice in my spirit, telling me, but Florence Ann you can make it. She would remind me that everything I needed to succeed God put in me I learned that God choose those 5 children for me, because God knew what kind of mother they needed. God knew those 5 kinds would teach me prayer is powerful, God knew these 5 kids would bring out of me what i had in me to be the best mother to then m, to teach and equip them to live in the world, and to introduce Jesus to them, train them up in the way they should Go.
